I know this sounds extremely stupid to even compare these 2 players, but look at their height-weight, stat comparison for Kevin Durant and MJs first 2 years, their team situations, Durant’s POTENTIAL (already has stats identical to Kobe Bryant), and his clutch playing. I know many do not believe he is clutch, but every close game they won, the ball was in his hands. Also, you cannot win many games no matter how clutch you are if you are pretty much playing 1 on 5 basketball every game, but just think about this and tell me what you think.

just because his stats is similar doesnt mean he has da same impact on da floor…. also i dont think u can compare anyone to one of da best if not da best specially if they havent won a championship… so lets just wait and see… durant has talent for sure… but lacking in areas.. he will get better

Not a bad comparison but you have to realize people in basketball worship MJ and get offended with comparison but Durant is good enough to warrant them but he is a different type of player than MJ.

I like him, but I think people kinda overrate him a little. His defense and ball handling still have quite a bit of work. He should be a perenial all-star, but let’s slow down a little on the greatness stuff until we see him make the playoffs. Also, I don’t think his game is anything like Jordan’s.

Recently a bunch of people have been comparing players just because they have similar body types but don’t play alike or they have SIMILAR stats which is just rediculous. Some one compared tyreke Evans to D-Wade not to long ago and there have been a couple others. And this one is just ludacris. Could we all please stop with these comparisons?
