King CaluchaParticipantLouisville is destroying Kentucky. This is not over yet, but… they went at it from the start. I can see the hunger!
And on top of that, it seems Cauley-Stein got a severe injury that will probably leave him out of the game.
Thoughts?

OhCanada-ParticipantRuss Smith WILL SCORE in the NBA if given a chance.
What a physical game gotta love it. Watching both Harrell and Randle on the floor is an overdose of hustle and physicallity.

jwall1ParticipantClose game, and it seems UK has the momentum right now. Randle is beasting it as usual, almost has another double double 5 minutes into the 2nd half..

OhCanada-ParticipantEither it was rigged or the refs are terrible. I actually thought the ball was off of Harrison. Hancock was being tossed around like a rag doll all game he was on the ground. Harrell fouled out on a bs call right after Poythress tossed Hancock 7 feet across the floor. Randle was leaning all over everyone for those O Boards. Maybe its just my perception your probally right but seemed like UK got favorable calls.

Ghost01ParticipantLouisville has a lot less to be mad about than Virginia…
I know its just one play but that no call on the push off with 33 seconds to go really could have changed the last 1/2 minute of that game completely.
Louisville didn’t play good down the stretch, it was really that simple. Give UK credit they hit shots when they had to.

FastAndFuriousParticipantLouisville went scoreless for a few minutes down the stretch on top of losing Harrell, wasnt anything rigged about that game.
Tell Russ Smith to be out of control in the first half not during the stretch of a game where your college career could end!!!!

OhCanada-ParticipantYah just didnt like how Hancock got tossed around. I get a bit emotional seeing two teams play their hearts out and end up with terrible calls down the stretch. The game wasnt rigged but damn.

on the play where he drove the lane and it gave Harrell the dunk where he stopped under the basket on the break away with no one around.
He got hammered on that play and grabbed/pulled around the shoulders/neck with no call and should of been looked at as flagrant.
Overall the refs called it slightly to UofL’s advantage, Louisville got away of hand checking the whole game, especially Russ.
They can only blame there selves for terrible FT shooting.

1) James Young continues to show he can not defend at all, UK’s run in the 1st half to get it to 3 was when he went to the bench with foul trouble and Aaron Harrison moved over to defend Russ Smith and Dominique Hawkins defended the other OFF guards then same in the 2nd half when he fouled out the defense was light years better. His +/- for the last month or so has to be horrible.
2)I really hope Dakari Johnson doesn’t get a Daniel Orton complex, he looks great right now, but he should stay another year and be a 15 and 8ish guy.
3)Hawkins and Poythress defense won the game and is more important then James Young offense.
Also best of wishes for WCS, hope it is nothing serious.

imAboutDatActionParticipantwell, in Young’s defense, its hard to defend within the college rules now’days in foul trouble.
Also, the Harrison Twins are showing why they were the top guards in the country.
