Tomorrow night is the anticipated matchup.  Let’s get some discussions and predictions out there.  

1.  Backcourt matchup is going to be fun.  Allen has looked really impressive to start the season.  Can Ullis get under his skin and keep him out of the lane or will Murry be called on to check him.  Matt Jones is shooting really well too.  

2.  Can Duke’s bigmen contain UK’s bigmen?  Plumlee, Jeffersen and Jeter vs. Skal,  Humphries, Lee IMHO is a huge advantage to UK.

3.  I expect Poythress to get a lot of minutes guarding Ingram, will be interesting to see how they respond to each other.

Going to be a really good game!

 Duke wins, Kentucky is too young to pull this win off this early in the season, if this game was later in the year id give Kentucky a shot.. Duke lost pieces but they were young guys.. They still have a well balanced team.. I like Duke here by 6..

 This kid turned it up a notch during the NCAA Finals and has stayed at that level.  Really surprised by his athleticism.  Long arms.  I think he’s an NBA player first round pick.

Will be great to see him up against NBA talent like Murray.  

Briscoe and Poythress don’t impress me at all.  I don’t think Poythress is NBA talent.  I think Briscoe joins him in Europe.

skal,ingram & allen are all off to amazing starts. most observers have this game as a pick’em.right now vegas has duke favored by 1.that might change as they approach game time. uk has to do a better job of protecting the ball..they are averaging 17 turnovers a game and shooting only 29% beyond the arc..that 3 pt% might not hurt them becuz uk has several guys that are good mid range shoters,including skal…. allen vs murray might be a treat.as well as seeing who will defend ingram?

Everyone thinks this match up is leaning in Skal’s favor but after watching Amile shut down Frank the Tank in the championship game, I’m confident that he can keep up with Skal. I’m concerned about our lack of a steady pg (I say steady because Thornton clearly isn’t ready). Ulis will be the x factor for that reason.
