sitlbitoParticipantSo Kendall Marshall will sign a partially guaranteed contract with Philadelphia(first year guaranteed). I think it’s a GREAT pick up for Philadelphia, and it’s also really good for Kendall Marhall who’ll have playing time. Guys like Stauskas,Noel,Okafor will need someone to set them up,and Marshall could be that guy. We’ve heard all summer that Philly would need a point guard, obviously with what was left on the Free agent market,it’s the best they could come up with.

TarHeelRavenParticipantKendall can ball. He’s not an elite NBA athlete obviously but he is an elite passer. He’s bounced around from Milwaukee to LA and I’ve wondered why he can’t find a home. I think Philly could be home for him. He has a big skilled guy in Okafor to throw the ball to so that helps.

MopgrassParticipantHe can hopefully set up Okafor and maybe Noel. More importantly, he can spread the floor and unclog the middle for their center duo, thanks to his awful looking, but surprisingly accurate shot. Hopefully Stauskas can also show that he’s the 3 point shooter the Kings thought they were drafting.

ncballerI still cry at night thinking of how epic the inevitable UNC vs UK championship would have been in 2012 had he not gotten injured. Really happy he may have found a more permanent home in Philly! Loved him at UNC.

DrivingDownTheStreetinmy64I’m Predicting Around the all star break those clowns will waive him for being too slow,a bad defender and missing wide open jumpers just like every team he been on..and still be paying him all that money!! Heinke finds a way to mess up things

NBAjunkie81ParticipantI don’t want to pick at your point, I certainly respect your opinion & I’m certainly no Sixers fan but the torrent of criticism directed their way truly puzzles me… Sacramento & Minnesota will be working on their 10th consecutive losing season in what I’m guessing is supposed to be a rebuild. Detroit, Charlotte, Utah, Orlando are all in year 5 to 8 of a so called Rebuild. Milwaukee has One winning season in the last Dozen years but the National Media can’t suck them off enough…. And then we have the Sixers who were Utterly decimated by the Andrew Bynum trade just 3 years ago, lost their Two best players & Several 1st round picks but never whined about it… Instead they just started over 26 months ago – that’s right May of 2013 Hinkie was hired & when you consider what Hinkie has acquired in that 26 month time period it’s pretty remarkable – even if Embiid Never plays a game, & according to Durant’s surgeon who was part of the surgical team 2 weeks ago he’ll be 100% – but aside from that they have accumulated quite a haul of Blue Chip prospects & Loads of 1st round picks…. Next October, after Only a 3 year rebuild, they will feature Noel, Okafor, Stauskus, Embiid, Saric- they have FOUR 1st round picks in the 2016 Draft (2 of them most likely Lottery picks) – so that will be Nine 1st rounders & 7 Lottery picks in ONLY 3 years of a "Rebuild" – When Hinkie was hired in May of 2013 he had the #11 pick, a 2014 First round pick, NO 2015 pick, a 2016 First round pick & NO 2017 pick – what they accumulated in just 2 years has been Incredible… The trade w/ the Kings to get Stauskus (2014 #8 pick) & swap rights w/ the Kings for 2016 & 2017 in exchange for Nothing was genius – The Kings will def complete their 10th consecutive Losing season this year, but what if they blow up completely & win the Draft Lottery next june??? They will have the rights to Ben Simmons & they’ll have to turn Simmons over to Phila so they could sign Rajon Rondo – that is Nuts… You can’t have it both ways – they are constantly criticized for not trying to win, but they sign Marshall the #13 overall pick in the 2012 Draft – I think it’s a great signing, the critics can’t have it both ways… It seems like most of the League is terrified of them….

sitlbitoParticipantIt’s kinda the opposite. Now that you have Marshall you don’t need both. Maybe one of them in the second unit, that’s all. You’re overrating raw, pure individual talent, and underrating actual production, and experience.

Mr. 19134ParticipantAmazing pick up for their current team as hell be able to get Noels n Jah easy looks as well as being able to set up theyre shooters in Covington, Stauskas and Canaan. He could avg a double double realistically in Philly

PulseGlazerParticipantLets see if he can stay on the court. He was never athletic, like at all, and an ACL injury can’t help that. If he stays on the court, he’s a great transitional point guard until they find the guy to go forward with.

sitlbitoParticipantYou’re right, but ,to me,he’ll have no problem staying on the court . It’s not like they have a logjam at the PG position,no matter what some users on this site think of Tony Wroten.

T RexIf he was in this draft, he would have gone top 2.
