FastAndFuriousParticipantYou can mark me down as many points u want i do not care.
This dude is the best player in college and got robbed for any award he didn’t win.
He took this unranked UCONN team and made them the BEST team in the land.
They won the Maui Tourney, and the BIG EAST tourney as well.
This dude proved he is a winner no matter what you say
GOOD JOB KEMBA!
Best player in the country!!!

HadzialijagicParticipantKemba is too talented and too competitive to not be a good player in the league.

dolla130Participantwhat i say he dont lose tournys as the marquee guy and i agree he got robbed out of the award but he got the ultimate award in college

ilike.panochasParticipantThis was not a final four team during the season, not even close(and was a bubble team to make the tournament), but Kemba dominated and carried them during that period, and once the freshmans started to mature and figure it out (Napie and Lamb) it was all cruise control from there on out. Kemba held this team together during the period of when they were not ready to contend and the freshmans blossomed in the right time. Kemba hands down the best college player this year.

EuroBallParticipantHe’s clearly a top five pick, if he enter the draft.

SwatLakeCityParticipantAmazing player, and even though Jimmer is a great college player, I don’t know how he wins NPOY over Kemba. Just doesn’t make any sense…..
Recount the votes please

Dale WorthingtonParticipantPut Kemba in the Mountain West against TCU, New Mexico State, and Wyoming, and he drops 32 and 6 a game.

jaydevil99ParticipantI feel as if Fredette played no defense when it was really needed and looked to only score and not do much else to help his team out. Jimmer just did not do what Kemba did on as difficult a stage.
Jimmer would of been a 3rd option at Duke and would of never had this sort of year on a team with higher caliber players surrounding him and in a tougher conference. I am also curious how a POY can not even lead his team to a championship in the MWC, while Kemba managed to lead his team to win the Big East, a much tougher conference and as we eventually saw leading his team to a Natl. Championship with a MOP award

TeamShowtimeLakersParticipantKEMBA WALKER IS A CHAMPION BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! SO ARE THE UCONN HUSKIES
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/04/2011 - 6:40pm #518112

Snubs15ParticipantAgreed! Kemba Walker is an incredible leader. He plays the game under control and makes his teammates so much better. Lamb and Napie playing with him were so much better as the year went on. He really had the team clicking, credits to Calhoun as well.

cp33Participanttribute to Kemba. I love how everyone in my hometown was talkin about Jimmer all year long like he was Jordan or something. All I asked was, "have you seen Kemba?" Ignorant fools didn’t have an idea who he was. I bet they do now.

SwatLakeCityParticipant@cp33, I know how you feel. I have a friend who thinks Jimmer will go top 5 and that he actually deserved the NPOY over Kemba??? Pahlease. He thinks Jimmer should go right after Kyrie. Well at least he doesn’t think he’s better than Irving is. But he still thinks Jimmer is better than Barnes, Vesely, Terrance Jones, Alec Burks and most importantly Kemba. Again, Pahlease. Guy is unreal and I don’t know what he is smoking. I decided to bet him lunch that Jimmer will not go top 5. I got that in the bag. This is just fun to watch him just totally favor him over practically every player in the draft and actually thinks he’s better than what he really is.
Kemba is definetly better than Jimmer hands down and I am just so disgusted that he did not win NPOY over Jimmer. He should have, he deserved it.
