with westbrook asking out, and the picks traded for him for win now, the rockets need to stay competitive moving him… i dont see a better deal other than maybe a paul george swap which i dont think the clippers will do.. who says no in this deal? celtics get the better player, rockets get a shooter to pair with harden, and harden will play a bit more off the ball which a new offense is clearly needed.. if clippers wont trade george i dont see a better win now player they can get..

Celtics say no they don’t need another malcontent like they had with Kyrie.

Celtics. Westbrook should go to a team that will allow him to do whatever the hell he wants like the Hornets, Pistons, Knicks and Cavs

There’s a guy who will let Westbrook do whatever the hell he wants … his name is Billy Donovan.

Westbrook for Markkanen and Otto Porter (huge expiring contract) and … not the Bulls’ #4 pick, that’s too high, but a future #1 pick. Who says no?

Celtics say no. They don’t take on extra salary hit which wouldn’t upgrade team chemistry.

Yea. Celtics definitely say no. Only teams I could see even entertaining the idea of trading for Westbrook are those desperate for a big name player who will increase ratings (Knicks). If the bucks get really desperate and think they need another star to keep Giannis happy maybe they bite (although I think it would be a terrible idea). Phoenix could be a possible long shot.

Big no, i’d like CP3 to the celts tho.
Imagine the celts with a true PG and a legit C(rolleyes).
    A 4 teams, 5 teams blockbuster, 15 + players-picks involved.
A pool CP3-Hayward-Kemba-Griffin-Rose-Fournier-Gordon-Ross-Bamba-Batum-Bridges and others, rookie deals, fillers, picks here or there.
Youth, picks, expirings to the thunder and pistons.
    Griffin to the hornets
    CP3 to the celts
    Kemba to the magic.

I think the Celtics would say no, because I think they would consider Kemba both the better player, as of 2020, and a better fit with the team.

Tatum is due for an extension, almost certainly for the max. Brown has his four-year $115 million extension kicking in. Westbrook for Walker would take the remaining four years of Kemba money, and contracting it into three years. If Boston does this, they are at the cap in 2021-22 with just max Tatum, Brown, Westbrook, and Smart. How much are they loving Romeo Lankford, Carsen Edwards, Robert Williams, and Grant Williams for playoff minutes?

Also, if Westbrook wants the ball and is bothered by the criticism he has received in Houston, Boston is not the place for him to go.
