Per Marc Stein on twitter. What does it mean? Is he restructuring again so the Warriors have more flexibility? Wants to get paid what he’s worth now? Did the talk after the finals that he needs to do it on his own hurt his feelings and motivate a change of scenery?

It’s been a formality that he was going to opt out then quickly resign with the Warriors for a while now. Nothing to see here.

Opt out and sign with someone else. I’d become a kd fan immediately

He is probably staying with GSW as he has said and they fact they are winning.

But it would be so funny if K.D said I am coming back like he did to OKC then and go back to OKC instead lol.

He’s resigning with the Warriors, he did the short term deal to give them the chance to get the rest of the roster resigned last summer I figure. Plus he’ll be chasing a hat-trick of titles.
