Kevin durant goes off for 46 tonight on 17 for 25 from the field. He has been playing out of his mind lately. He’s averaging 40.6 ppg in his last five on 59% shooting. Not to mention his other two 48 point games this month. This is actually getting ridiculous. It’ll be fun to see how long he can keep this streak up.

What he did tonight in the last two minutes of tonights game was just ridiculous, and I think he’s playing on a level right now that only a handful of wing players in the history of the game have been on. He’s single handedly kept the Thunder in a good position in the West, and right now is looking like the easy MVP favorite.

I think Durant is creeping up on LeBron faster than any of us could have imagined, and could surpass him in the coming years if he starts to go all out on the defensive side of the ball. For real, we’re watching the maturation of a legend right now…

In his last 10 games Durant is averaging 38.3 pts per game but more importantly the Thunder are 7-3

    17 for 25 FG%. That’s 68%, a good stat if you’re a center but if you’re a wing player who shoots a lot of threes? yikes..

He is scoring a lot and that was a great game but he isn’t doing anything new.  KD has been a bad man for a while.  Lets slow down on the idea of him surpassing Lebron until he gets his play making/ passing gets better.  As far as his defense I remember seeing something this season that had him listed as the best wing defender; probably speak more to consistent effort rather than defensive talent but he at least does that.
