Since I’m getting Pierre Thomas, then I might be willing to part with MJ-D. But not straight up for Gore. During the draft I had the opportunity to take Gore over MJ-D, but I feel like MJ-D is better than Gore, as I’m sure everyone else does as well.

Your just the guy I wanted to get Gore, since you are the only one who has enough faith in Vincent Jackson. Of course I like Vincent Jackson alot as well, since I proclaimed during the draft that “everyone is going to know who Vincent Jackson is after this season.”

But I agree, if you involve Boldin then more pieces will have to be involved. I’d prefer to keep Colston out of it.

As of now Henry, but I think Coles will slowly get more involved in the passing game. So I plan on keeping Royal. As of now, he is my 3rd WR.

2 things to consider: this is going to be the best offer you’ll receive for MJD… you get another 1st rd rb and get a significant upgrade at wr… 5th rder to a 3rd rder… the ppl in this league don’t understand value like that, and i can almost guarantee u wont get a better deal than that. it helps both teams.

MJ-D is solid. I would love to hang on to him, but I’ve read nothing but positive reports about Gore. Hopefully Gore gets more TDs this year than in years past. 49ers should be handing him the ball non stop. Of course their is always a concern of injury, but I think every RB in the NFL is just as likely to get hurt. I was really close to taking Gore over MJ-D during the draft. Of course by getting Gore, I’m going to have to try and get someone else.

I think Vincent Jackson will play just as well if not a little better than last year. OL in San Diego is in question, but Rivers gets rid of the ball quick enough so that shouldn’t be too much of a concern. Naanee seems like he will probably end up being the 2nd WR instead of Chambers. And I’ve had Boldin ranked ahead of Jackson on my rank list, even with the contract dispute. I think Boldin is going to play one more year all out to try prove he is worth the big bucks. Vincent is also in a contract year, so he should be playing all out as well.

yea, i mean to be honest, i have VJ and Boldin as equal on my rankings (non ppr)… I just do it by tiers…

Gore has only missed 3 games the last 3 yrs so he’s durable, or at least he has been. I have him a tier or two below MJD, I see MJD scoring 12 TDs and getting a lot more rec yds…but yea, injuries could also be his downfall, which, like u said is something faced by all rb, and what makes fantasy fun and challenging.

i woulda done the deal straight up, and i actually don’t even know if ginn will be better than henry… so whatever. good doing business with u
