DP2005ParticipantIf Marcus Lee, Randle and WCS all leave for the NBA the Kentucky Wildcats will have a rather unorthodox front court next season. Dakari Johnson and Karl Towns aren’t the run and jump athletes that John is used to. Will he change his strategy to more of a focus on the half court post up game? It will be exciting to see how he utilize these talents.

M-EazyParticipantWhy would Marcus Lee declare for the draft?? Are you expecting him to have a crazy Final Four?

DP2005ParticipantDid you not watch their game vs Michigan? One game like that and a player can get picked up in the first round in today’s NBA.

M-EazyParticipantIt’s one game! No one gets drafted off of one game in the NBA where a person’s million dollar job is on the line when picking these players.

tcrhs19ParticipantDaniel Orton was Demarcus Cousins backup and averaged like 3 points a game and got drafted 29th overall. Lee should definelty stay another year, but if he declared, he would be a 1st rounder based on potential

HobbyOGParticipantdoubt it, Orton had an NBA body, Marcus Lee has a WNBA body..He needs to stay another year. You can’t get drafted off putback dunks.

Chilbert arenasParticipantEnes Kanter and Mysmack Biyombo both got drafted from one game in the Nike Hoops Summit game but I agree Marcus Lee isn’t going anywhere. Better chance of Dakari leaving.

theballerwayParticipantI think hes going to be a beast in college. Hes a face up guy at 7 ft, but thats not saying he cannot operate with his back to the basket. His range and great and his athletism is pretty legit (not to be confused with elite). Im not sure of his rebounding rate but apart from strength(most hs’ers) and perhaps more refined post moves he looks like an impact player.
Im curious to see how he will be used. I dont want him to end up like Austin from Baylor, However with their returning front court players – assuming, Lee and Johnson and even that other freshman big with the nice stroke he might have to operate in the high post and and short corners.
