steviechillzParticipantHes been in the game for 3 mins, but this guy is already impressing me….lightining quick, athletic, keeps his head up(stole from jay williams lol)….a pure pg and finds people so easily…plus hes got a swagger on the court simillar to that of Brandon jennings. Texas has been given a gem

ilike.panochasParticipantThis guy is moving up during the AllStar games just like Kyrie Irving did last year. I remember when Brandon Knight was the consensus #1 PG till Irving passed him because of great AllStar games. Same thing could be happening between Kabango and Teague.

darius3milesParticipantWas Jay Williams the last player to keep his head up? Kabongo reminds me of Kyrie minus the scoring and finishing ability, which is still pretty good.

OhCanada-ParticipantKabongo is supposed to be one of the best leaders to come out of HS in a long long tme, and scouts are now starting to take notice of that. I think that is what seperated him from any other player at his level of play, maturity, leadership, team concept, and the fact that he will talk the talk then walk the walk. Anybody wonder why Hamilton is a gaurentee to stay in Texas next year? Myck will make him look so good, along with Tristans offence, and Josephs abillity to play off the ball.
Right now the only comparison I can fathom is Rajon Rondo.

KDThunder35ParticipantMyck Kabongo is definitely a pass first point guard. The person I kind of see similarities to in him is TJ Ford (I’m not picking that because they both went/are going to Texas). His supreme quickness, ball handling, court vision, and even bodies at the same stage seem to be strikingly similar. TJ Ford was unreal quick with the ball before he got injured in the league, I see the same thing in Myck. They also put their teammates before themselves, which in my opinion is what a point guard should be. I don’t think Myck will be the Naismith Player of The Year like TJ was during his sophmore campaign in Austin, but I think he will be pretty darn good.
