If everybody is in good health through the playoffs, just how far can this wizard team go?

    haywood
    jamison
    butler
    arenas
    foye – possible starting lineup.

bench – mike miller, stevenson, young, blatche, Mcgee, oberto

    or

    haywood
    jamison
    butler
    stevenson
    arena’s – possible starting lineup.

bench – mike miller, foye, young, blatche, McGee, Oberto

I think they can be the 4th best team in east. And if Arenas is playing at all-star level, then they can beat anybody in a 7 game series.

so you think they could make the finals if they’re healthy and arena’s is playing his best?

They look really good on paper, lets see if everyone can stay healthy though. That lineup says, like llperez said, a top 4 team in the east, but i still have my doubts on whether Arenas can stay healthy all season, I think they are still a 7-8 seed if Arenas goes down again though.

I wouldn’t predict them to get to the finals, but yes I think they have that ability. I’ve been high on them all summer. The play they get at center will be important too, Haywood and McGee will have to give them some solid defense against Dwight and Shaq. But the talent and offensive abilities on this team are undeniable.

it all Depends on how far Lebron and Howard go lol

simulated 09-10 season and Wizards won the Finals LOL

lots of firepower offensively So In My Eyes
there is a chance that it could happen barring injury

remember that the Wizards hav always lost to Lebron in the Finals but now they have more bigs to compete for rebounds (McGee, Oberto) and can take Jamison out for a bigger, more defensive F-C (McGee, Oberto)

IMO Jamison is gonna have to sacrifice some minutes

all of this looks great on paper, it’s whether they can stay healthy and form the perfect chemistry. I believe, if all are healthy, this team has the chance to make the finals. Where they’ll dominate is the 1,2,3 spots. where they will struggle or do average is the 4, and 5.

The Wizards will be good this season, especially with Gilbert Arenas being as focused as he is. However, this isn’t exactly the same Wizards team from three-four seasons ago. These guys have aged and been through tons of injuries since then. Arenas, Butler, Jamison and Haywood have had tons of injuries. If they’re to make it far their young core of Foye, Young, Blatche and McGee must contribute.

I really like the moves this team made they are gonna do some big things this year I think they will actually have a chance to beat Lebron and the Cavs im not saying they are gonna get to the finals but if they play the cavs they can beat them.

they’ll go as far as their defense takes them. Adding all those wing men makes them deep but not elite.
2nd round at best, they should really think about trading Jamison for a PF that plays D like Millsap.

i think they will get to the second round the only way they can get farther is if one of the young bigs, blatche or mcgee step up, because brendan haywood was never and still isn’t the answer at center, at least mcgee and blatche both have that long athletic game unlike haywood who just looks like a ninja turtle.

The Wizards have the most depth in the East possibly. They can play their 1-12 men and not really look very bad at all. And from what I’ve heard Randy Foye has been looking really good in Training Camp so far, and he looks to have the 2-guard spot locked up going into the season. They need to trade Nick Young so everyone can see how good he really is, he’ll never get the right PT with the crowded depth at the 2.
