There were so many surprise picks. I don’t know a single person that expected Bennett to go number one, and there were plenty of other picks that I thought came out of nowhere. This draft just goes to show how much we actually know going into the draft and how reliable these sources and rumors are. A lot of these “experts” actually do know what they are talking about, but don’t ever think what they say is factual. They really have no idea what GM’s and scouts are thinking.

The uncertainty at the top of the draft really caused a trickle down effect this year. Usually there are a couple teams putting out false info to get a guy to drop but this year it seemed like there was BS flying left and right. It really made for an entertaining draft because I had no idea who was going to get picked….as soon as got off Twitter because it was ruining the suspense.

was a suprise to me in the first round. Grant from Arizone got drafted too albeit in the second round but I kept hearing how it was a mistake and he wont be drafted . good luck to him

The Bennett pick temporarily threw off the flow of my mock until around the 15th pick it caught back up. I had 5 exact picks in the first round (Porter, Zeller, Dieng, Plumlee, Gobert) and a ton of 3 pointers (picked within 3 slots). I had about 76 mock points in just the first round alone and I was surprised.

I did terrible in the second round, but I did have one exact pick in Siva. Overall I kind of counted my score though I’m not sure I counted correctly but looks like I should have about 87, and considering I had 88 last year I’d say that’s pretty good for this unpredictable draft. I expected to get about 20 points less this year than I did last last year.
