sheltwon3Participantanything with harden and Griffin will probably win

gatorheelsParticipantThe 1st team would win fairly easy. Hill can cause Griffin trouble with his lenght. Thabeet will own Mullens. TWilliams has to much experience and will outplay DeRozan.

llperezGriffin and Harden would be the two best players on the court, and I think Flynn is ahead of Curry as well. As far as predicting stats, tht’s pretty pointless.

TyroberParticipanti think the second team wins without question. the first only beats mullens with thabeet but thabeet has bust written all over him. he wasnt worthy of the #2 selection and mullens could actually turn out to be a better player

boffacheeriosParticipantya Harden for sure, he did GREAT in summer league so far. (in case you didn’t know, in 19 minutes he had 4 points, 1 rebound and 3 assissts, plus 3 fouls. Now i know it’s the guys first game, but come on! it’s summer league and he’s a number 3 pick. He’s supposed to be the scoreer of the group. give me team 1 any day.

Tobe BryantParticipantTeam Two. Flynn is a floor general, along with Harden creating offense and Griffin manning the block. Derozan will be sliding backdoor for all kind of alley-oops. Mullens will clean up the mess on the boards when needed.

KevinDurantRocksParticipantCurry will score more then flynn but flynn will get his team more in involved and score so Flynn is better.
Again Tyreke Evans and Harden will be a key match up but harden prevails with defense and calm control
I’ll give the next one to terrance williams cause he will lock down Demar but still williams isn’t a good offensive weapon
Blake Griffin mauls Hasheem and Hill doesn’t matter as long as Mullens scores in the paint to be a threat and boxs out

da guru1st team by a landslide

MattissickParticipantMullens hurts their team though and Evans might be able to do decent defense on Harden but then Flynn could do good D on Curry

MattissickParticipantUp there ^^ the guy with -3 points said it’s harden’s first game.. but he just played in the orlando summer league and tore it up.

UNC4eva8806Participanthas to much D!!! Their frontcourt has great size and would cause a lot of trouble. With tyreke’s ability to drive and Stephen Curry’s shooting ability that should help them on the offensive end. The second team would be really weakend with BJ Mullens, Hasheem Thabeet would dominate him on the glass with his size and experience and BJ would just be another body to make a 5 on 5

gatorheelsParticipantPeople saying team 2 would win easily are smokin _____. Team 2 has two weak links. You can’t win with major weaknesses in your lineup. Team 1 is solid at every position. DeRozan can’t compete with TWill right now. Mullens is awful, watch some games please. Just because he is 7ft & has potential people think he is good. Dude is grabage. Haha sinkn3s….Mullens is an absolute cupcake…he won’t be getting any rebounds with Hill & Thabeet under the basket I promise you. Harden can’t guard Evans. Evans will penetrate at will.

HaleParticipantFun fact. Tracy McGrady is only 3 years older then Dwyane Wade.

knicksfreakParticipantTeam 2 wins because team 1 has no PG. I kow T-Will can dish but team 2 has almost prototypical players at each position.
I think that
Jennings
Curry
Budinger
Hill
Mullenscould give
Flynn
Harden
Derozan
Griffin
Thabeeta run for their money.
Jennings beat Flynn in most of their matchups at team workouts. Jennings and Mullens seem to play very well together. Curry is the best scorer on the court. Budinger adds another shooter for Jennings to kick out to on his dribble-drive. Hill adds some lenth and skill. Mullens and Hill can share guarding Blake Griffin since Thabett is a nonfactor offensively. Harden is the only good shooter on team 2 except arguably Flynn. A game like this is more based on scoring so I give the edge to my new team 1.

gatorheelsParticipantHaha knicksfreak….team 1 has two PGs
Curry & Evans can both play PG easily.

knicksfreakParticipantI like Curry as more of a SG. I dont think he can run a team just yet. Curry and Budinger spot up while Jennings does what he does best; Penetrate. Jennings and Mullens have an unexplicable ability to play well together. jennin penetrates so well that he will suck Thabeet to him and Mullens will get alot of freebies and Thabeet would also get in foul trouble.

ckowalskiParticipantThabeet played on a team last year that committed the fewest fouls in division 1. He’s really long and he doesn’t look for contact, instead he tries to block shots. It might take him a little bit to adjust but I don’t think he will foul near as much as someone like oden did his first full season of playing. I can see him getting in trouble against more physical bigs (like how Blair took it at him) but he’s actually pretty smart at not fouling. He didn’t foul out of too many games last year. Granted, that was NCAA ball but his style of play should translate pretty well to the NBA.
