Seems like the players in the NBA that once played football, are less prone to injuries, and even when they do occasionally get injuies it isn’t anything too severe. Players like LeBron, Iverson, Nate Robinson, and etc are tough as nails….With that said, should NBA teams incorporate some football training to players workout regimen?

Come on now Iverson is on your list? He was the poster child for nagging injuries. You must have never seen his injury commercial.

its just a coincidence. It would be like someone saying since tony gonzalez, jimmy graham, Julius peppers etc were all basketball players, the nfl should include basketball training. Plus Charlie ward was the Heisman, and in 12 nba seasons, he was injured often and only played 70+ games 3 times.

Your approach and thought process is a little off, but yes cross training is one way to hinder injuries from doing the same type of training over and over again. I don’t think there is any truth to your theory though.
