BasketballJunkie224Participantso julius randle makes his decision on 3/20. kentucky, kansas, florida and texas. now i would think that really means ku,uk and uf but does anyone think texas has a shot in this? im just thinking because kentucky has a million guys coming in, florida has chris walker coming in and proably pat young coming back. I honestly think it could be between kansas and texas. idk, i guess its all up in the air? but what does everybody think? does texas have a shot?

TRC1991ParticipantJulius Randle just reminds me of a big-12 type forward. I bet he picks Kansas

IknoBall12ParticipantI actually think he will pick Texas. I think he will look to try to play a role like Kevin Durante and Beasley did when they led their teams and dominated as freshman. Also he’s from Texas so he’s basically at home

hoopscopParticipantAccording to Clark Francis it will be Kentucky and this would be huge, maybe the greatest draft class in history with 5 top ten players and a sixth guy with super high potential (Lee). Julius is a franchise type player, a dominant big with a tantalizing floor game. Old grumpy Larry Brown told an unnamed recruit six months ago if he would concentrate on playing on the block (and stop handling the ball out there) he would achieve alltime great level. Reaction- unnamed recruit dropped SMU.
So basically every guy on UK 2013 will leave, and that is bad, they get drafted but have so many holes, their stay in the League will be shortlived. Guys like Goodwin, Stein and Poythress really need at least 3 years college ball, Goodwin even could be Wade light.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantJohnson and lee will be at UK for more than a year and they will have Townes and most likely Maudiay and Lyes plus return Wlitijer and Harrow. They will be more than fine in 2015. As far as Randle he is the closest thing to Lebron…remember I said closest I did not say he is Lebron. There is no other 6’9 240 guy who handles the ball, pass like him, high motor plus a post game and a pretty good jumper for his position as well as very high athletic ability. It doesn’t matter what player other schools have at his position because he will start over any of Em and play as much time as he wants due to his skills and motor.
IMO he will also have a bigger impact in year one than Wiggins because HS a harder match up even though Wiggins has the higher potential

Olynyk 4 NPOYAlso, I wouldn’t be surprised if Andrew Harrison was drafted ahead Julius.
