jjonzParticipantHe had tons of DNP-CD’s this year, we can’t really say what his value is because he has not played enough, he seems like a decent PG.
What kind of # do you think he could give ATL in a full season
And what tier of PG will he play in?
1st The Elite PG’s
2nd The TJ Ford’s of the NBA
3rd The Hayward WorkMan’s of the NBA.

surveParticipant2nd tier…but the only reason he got to play is because Heinrich was out…for some reason it seems like ATL is holding him back and if thats the case, he needs to be elsewhere.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m somewhat biased, but I think he has elite point guard potential.
He’s not a great backcourt fit with Joe Johnson though, so he’ll probably have to reach his potential elsewhere.

NJHooper95ParticipantHe will be in the category, of Wall, Conley, Jennings, Lowry, Nelson, Harris etc. He has a chance to be at the top of the 2nd tier list. Alot of players in this league can play, many just need an opportunity. We saw Redd emerged when Allen was traded. Al Jefferson emerge in Minn. Flip showed how good he was when Allen got hurt in Seattle.
Darren Collison made a name for himself when Paul got hurt. So alot of the time its just about a chance and freedom.

aamir543ParticipantA 12 and 5 playing 27 minutes for hsi first season getting decent playing time. Of course, he is supposed to improve off of that.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantSo this reaction is clearly keeping in mind the way in which last year’s playoff series with the Lakers was the jump off point for Goran Dragic’s career, right?

sheltwon3ParticipantI saw Teague play and he is legit. I think he can stand to improve on his decision making. ATL may not be the best team for him but I would take him over a player like Devin Harris.

M-DYMESParticipantYour tiers are far to large if your saying TJ Ford is a 2nd tier PG in this league.

meirmeir13He can be a legit point guard for years to come. Hes putting up great numbers against the MVP. Having said that I still see him as a second tier type of point guard. Hes still very young the same age as derrick rose so there is alot of improvement and potential he has.

Chilbert arenasParticipantAt this point he’s between Devin Harris level and George Hill level. Remember Harris has been an all-star and Hill had a great playoff run a couple years ago. Also TJ Ford is the third string PG these days so I’m not going by previous set tiers.

shermParticipantJeff Teague is a great player for sure, he just needed consistent minutes in order to perform, similar to Jerryd Bayless. I can see J. Teague can be like a Brandon Jennings type of player. Marquis Teague will be the better of the brothers though
