TarHeelRavenParticipantClips send Josh Smith back to Houston for a bag of peanuts. I don’t have any inside information on the Clippers and Josh Smith but it seems like that move was a complete disaster. I’ve never liked Josh Smith. Didn’t he respond to the crowds in Atlanta booing when he was chucking up brick after brick from three point land that he was going to keep shooting threes and didn’t care what they said?? Josh Smith was responsible for the ultimate neg post about him going to the Pistons because of his gang ties. I wonder if that post still has the record for most negs.

thetruth87ParticipantClassic addition by subtraction example. The same thing happened with the Pistons. They had a record of 34-76 with Josh Smith, and since they got rid of him they are 50-45 dating back to last season. Obviously there were some other factors involved but I think getting rid of him had a lot to do with their revival.

TeslaBallerParticipantJosh Smith is the poster child for when confidence turns into delusion.
Okay so you simply can’t shoot a basketball. No problem because you can do a lot of other things decent, if not very well. But in your mind you truly believe you can shoot so you keep chucking them up there. How does that happen?
You’ve just made the fact that you can’t shoot 100 times worse by not learning how to pass up shots and refusing to believe what your eyes are seeing.
No coach or teammate ever had the balls to say: "Josh your not a shooter, so stop shooting the damn ball"
Unbelievable, "nothing worse in life than wasted talent".
