^Josh Smith, much younger with a higher ceiling.  Similar in the way that they need to be motivated but lamar had his chance and proved he’s best serving as a 6th man.  Along with his bad shot selection at least smith shows heart.

    DET gets Smith and Hinrich

Starting Lineup: PG: Hinrich SG: Rip or Stuckey SF: Daye PF: J.Smith C: 8th pick or Wallace?

ATL gets Monroe, Ben Gordon and Prince

Starting lineup: PG: Teague SG: JJ SF: Prince PF: Horford C: Monroe

    Why they do it?

ATL slides Horford to his natural position while getting a big that can compliment his game and vice versa. Plus they add another SG scorer off the bench and make Crawford play back up PG or BG could simply act as an insurance if Crwaford leaves.

DET: Dumps the lousy contract of Gordon while getting Hinrich(expiring) which they could pair up easily with either RIP or Stuckey. And let Smith play the PF and which I think could help Daye to be more effective.
