MJBrownParticipantAnyone hear anything lately on Selby’s stock? Is he still a possibility at 17 with the Knicks. Any possibility he falls out of the first round? How were his workouts? Is any team really high on him right now? Where do you have him ranked at the 1 spot right now?

rileymcshea3ParticipantHe sucks and is overrated he scored 8 points a game shooting 37% percent from the field and 36% from 3. And if you say well he didnt get enough playing time because Kansas was too good well if Kansas was too good then how will he NBA ? But whatever Selby=OVERRATED

PulseGlazerParticipantThe Knicks seem to be going in another direction. I don’t think he’s a first rounder. He needs the wakeup call of sliding, and the right system to succeed.

MJBrownParticipantInteresting. You don’t think that a perrenial playoff team might take a chance at the end of the first round on a superior athlete. You don’t think that playing behind Derrick Rose might be a good situation for him? I could see Chicago taking that chance if they don’t love anyone else on their draft board

TMoney617Participantthat selby was also coming back from an injury so that probably had something to do with him playing bad but that being said i think hes an early second round pick

TallmanNYCParticipantThe Bulls will worry that he will be selfish and a gunner and mess up team chemistry. Sure the athleticism is there, but if a guy shoots 37% in college and then gets worse facing the tougher D of the NBA and then won’t stop shooting. Well throw a 35% shooter into your offense who keeps taking shots and your team is going to stink. There are real questions about this kid’s maturity and it is scaring people.

JoeWolf1He doesn’t play like a superior athlete, he’s kind of a chucker and rarely takes it strong to the hoop. He doesn’t really use his athleticism to his advantage with the exception of his speed on the fast break. He’s not an impressive player at all and at 17 there will be a bunch of better players on the board than Selby.
He’s also not a 1, he’s a 6’2” 2 guard

RJay757ParticipantI saw him play live in highschool and while he dropped 35 points, I did not leave with the feeling that I was watching a future NBA player ( at least a starting/6th man caliber). I hope he proves me wrong, but im not sure that he will…..

JNixonParticipantSomeone needs to give the Knicks a "nick" if they take Josh Selby at 17. He’s very overrated.

PulseGlazerParticipantNot only is he overrated, but Toney Douglas and Billups mean he’d just sit there, stewing angrily. He needs a team that fits.
