Wizards will have a solid team now

    PG- Wall
    SG- Arenas
    SF- Howard/Thorton
    PF- Blatche
    C- McGee

My sleeper team for thr East next year could suprise some teams like the Bucks did last year

man his value has dropped considerably inrecent years. Between his on court play digressing and his off court attitude stuff. But he is still talnted and should beat out al thornton for that starting sf spot and is one more reason why washington might get into the playoffs.

That’s a shock….I thought they’d move him. Coach Saunders likes him more than I thought….

If Josh Howard can stay healthy then this is a solid addition for the Wizards.

Howard is coming off yet another injury… He probably could have got the midlevel over a longer term deal but I bet he signed for only a year because he figures after this season his value around the league will shoot back up again. Its a win win for the Wiz and Howard. If Howard gets 30 minutes a night his gamble will likely payoff next offseason.

Very solid signing, I called it. He actually looked pretty good in his few games with the Wiz before getting hurt. Great value and no risk with a one year deal. Could really round out the lineup with his offense and 3rd option ability. I think him re-signing with Washington shows some maturity. If he waited he probably could have got like a 3 year/12 mil contract somewhere else but he said from the beginning of free agency that he was grateful for the Wizards getting him out of his situation in Dallas. Low risk, medium reward signing.
