Seamo15ParticipantSo Jordan Hill be out of the playoffs for the Lakers having being charged for choking his girlfriend. How does this affect the Lakers run, and whats next for Hill?

Wavy BagelsParticipantThis hurts the Lakers’ depth in the bench for the Playoffs. Hill was playing well. Also, he doesn’t seem like a guy that would do such a thing. Can’t judge a book by its cover, though.

ProudGrandpaParticipantIf choking was a crime, then Lebron would have been incarcerated a long time ago…

Seamo15ParticipantThe judge might give LeBron a lighter sentence seeing as he only does choke inthe 4th rather than the whole game ha.

ProudGrandpaParticipantI doubt this will have much effect on them. Hill was one of their key big men, but Gasol and Bynum play most of the game. McRoberts and Murphy will step up and play a couple extra minutes and the Lakers will win the games they would’ve won and lost the games they would’ve lsot with Hill. Not Earth-shattering news.
And I’m sure Hill’s career will be fine. I mean, look at Latrell Sprewell. He was successful. And he had a family to feed!

CynthiaParticipantMy comments on this issue can be found here: http://nbadraft.net/forum/jordan-hill-serious-criminal-charges-pending
It was in the forbidden forum instead of the "NBA Draft".

sheltwon3ParticipantYou don’t typically get suspended for just being charged with something especially when the event happened like 2 months ago. They will probably not have a trial unitl after the playoffs. Hill will have no problems play but hopefully this does kill his focus. He is turning in to quite the player but I still think New York was dumb to draft ahead of a lot of other guys.

Seamo15ParticipantI’d love to see him play, just gotta hope the warrant for his arrest isn’t issued any time soon, that could cut out time. I’m incredibly glad he got out of Houston by the way, they had him and Terrence Williams at the end of the bench. Terrence has played great at Sacramento, and even Flynn and Thabeet, who were also riding pine with them got minutes for Portland.

aamir543ParticipantProud Gramps, I remember Latrell Sprewell’s situation, poor guy wasn’t able to feed his family, a 35 year old two guard coming off the worst season of his career deserves more than 24 million dollars to feed his family. I mean 24 million? His kids need to eat, oh well at least it ended out well………….oh wait, it didn’t, he never got another contract after that.
