McDunkinThree of Rick Barnes’ Texas Longhorns went in the first round of the NBA draft on Thursday night, but one of those Longhorns feels like he could have done better without his coach’s influence.
Jordan Hamilton was chosen by the Dallas Mavericks with the 26th pick in the first round, and eventually ended up with the Denver Nuggets as part of a three-team deal. Some were projecting Hamilton higher. When NBA writer Chris Tomasson asked Hamilton about it, the Longhorns standout said he felt Barnes had some influence. Tomasson tweeted Hamilton’s response to him.
"(Barnes) called some teams and said that I probably wasn’t coachable and things like that. But I feel I can be coachable"
He also told Tomasson that he "got some feedback" that led him to believe that information.
Hamilton didn’t indicate that it ruined his image of the Longhorns and called Barnes a "great coach."
"I love Texas and everybody is entitled to their opinion," Hamilton said.

HobbyOGParticipantLOL at your thread title..But I feel he is using that as an excuse. If he felt that way he should of said that before the draft took place and his acquastions would have more credability.

mikeyvthedonParticipantFOR SHAME! Do not use that poor excuse, "Oh, the site didn’t have his profile". Everyone knows you make most of the sites comedically named profiles, you really dropped the ball on this one McMaduabum!

aamir543ParticipantI dont see Chu Chu in your mock draft Mc Chu Chu’in. Although it may not be your fault, because they may not have had him in the pool of choices.

mikeyvthedonParticipantTurn around quickly, and you might get a glimpse at him. There have been times where I have seen him pop up out of Brandon Jennings’ high top fade, as well. Be afraid TOL. Be very afraid. Never, ever, say his name in the mirror three times!
