    I agree.

LeBron James shouldn’t have left Cleveland for Miami. He was the 2 time MVP. I feel he should have convinced someone to join him.

Al Jefferson just got dealt to Utah for beans…. Cleveland couldn’t have got him?

Tyson Chandler just went to Dallas for Erick Dampier? Cleveland couldn’t get him?

I think all sides fail but LeBron looks the worst based on the history of the NBA.

Lebron is making more enemies everyday since he left Cleveland. I agree with Jordan as well he basically took the easy way out of to try to win a championship and tarnished his image with the hour “decision” show(not necessary to make a 30 sec choice). Now that he is on the Heat he has done more recruiting in the last 2 weeks then his whole entire 7 year career. Not a Lebron hater( I want him to win a championship) but he’s not very smart, should have took some college course in communication and not listen to his so called group of friends.

I agree with Jordan as well.

What two time MVP leaves his kingdom to go join another franchise wing player’s house, while still in the prime of their careers?

KG and Allen were old when they joined Boston… Desperate to win a ring. LeBron is in his prime…

And Gasol didn’t abandon Memphis… He was traded to LA and before he was traded to LA, he was an All-Star, but not an elite power forward.

Artest is in the late stages of his career as well. He’s nothing more than a piece to a great team.

It’s different with LeBron because a talent like him only comes along once in a generation… He’s probably the most unique talent the game has ever seen. He’s the two time MVP and considered by many (not by me) to be the best player in the league…

he’s going to have to break Bill Russell’s 11 ring mark. Forget all the self proclaiming hype, and the ‘King’ title. This is the new standard that Lebron has brought to himself by teaming up with Wade and Bosh in South Beach.

No one but LeBron brought this hate upon himself. Every since he’s been in the NBA, he’s more than accepted the challenge of being compared to the greats. Heck, he mimics Jordan’s pre-game routine. His ego has been built upon him being the guy thus far. He seemingly embraced the role of everyone being “witnesses” to him single-handedly taking down the Pistons in 2007. He embraced that challenge of being the guy, but now he does a 180, and people question him, rightfully so..

Jordan is the GOAT, but he is also an idiot… Lebron James made a business decision.. In 3 or 4 years he will be the number one option on the Heat cause Wade will be in his later stages of his career… The Heat will be so DOMINANT in the regular seasons James will be able to extend his career and he will always be fresh in the playoffs… Everybody has all this HATE towards Lebron and I feel he is going to use this as fuel to go out and destroy everything in his path next year… Lebron first 7 seasons in the league he has carried a FRANCHISE and now he made a politically incorrect move and everybody is throwing darts at him… I wouldnt be suprised if he averaged a triple double next year 24 ppg 10 reb 10 asst…. Regardless what people say I think his playoff performances in the next 10 years will dictate his legacy.. Im curious to see how many people jump on his banwagon when he starts winning championships…

Let’s remember, Jordan and pippen grew together, pippen was nothing but potential when he came to the bulls,
every teamate Jordan had, played a role on his team, and every teamate played better when playing with him,
the ones who thought they were getting good, all struggled after leaving, bj, Horace, and even pippen, what
teamate did James make better, mo Williams, was better b4 he went to the cavs, as was Jamison, larry Hughes,
every body they brought to him was good, and then got worse, the bulls grew together, filling in roles when a team
offered a role player money to leave them, even kokuc, never was the same, my point is, I’m sick of people trying
to justify James leaving by saying Jordan had pippen, pippen was shit his first 3 years, lebron had 18 + points per
game scores thrown on his lap, and after it didn’t work out, it’s easy to say those players weren’t shit, but b4 they
played with James they were good, and everytime they would get 1 they were suppose to get James over the hump
patients is the key, and lebron, is no longer gonna have a chance to be in jordans class no matter what happens
    in mia,

“Lebron James made a business decision..”

Are you kidding me? Do you really believe that LeBron made a business decision? Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade clearly stated that this was a personal decision to make less money to win a championship. LeBron, obviously, is thinking along the same lines with his “brand” at stake which itself is worth millions of dollars; moreover, it’s worth more than his salary he’s going to be making in the NBA and potentially his total career salary. As of right now, LeBron has lost much more money in this signing than what possibly could have lost had he signed he back with Cleveland or even NY. Probably could even argue NJ too. If this was a business decision, he would taken those factors into account. LeBron is going to make the most money from his name/brand, and this put him in one of the worst positions to do so; therefore, it is not a business decision.

Lebron is going to make more money in his career that he will EVER be able to spend no matter where he goes.. This whole brand thing is a product of the media, as long as he keeps winning and putting up video games stats fans are going to buy his products… In the end as a businessman he is going to a place where he can win championships and championships = money, respect, endorsements, etc etc (its not like he needs anymore endorsements)… His name/brand will be fine, the media is over blowing this whole Lebron name/brand is in trouble… Dude is going to make stupid money regardless and MIA gives him a chance to both get paid (florida has NO income tax) and win championships, therfore it was a very sound business decision…

all lebron is is just a complenmentary player who happens to be a superstar

Jordan didn’t win a playoff series until he had Pippen with with him. Also Jordan didn’t win a ring until the last season Magic and Bird played. He never beat Magic or Bird for a ring. If the statement had been I never would have played with Stockton or Malone it would have been more realistic.

The year Jordan played baseball the Bulls won 55 games and lost 4-3 in the eastern conference semifinals. What do people think the Cavs will win without Lebron? Jordan can say all he wants he never would have left to play with other great players, but he sure wouldn’t have been against them joining him if the wanted to.

Also why do you have to be old not to tarnish your legacy? It’s ok to change teams if you’re older and play for less money if you’ve put in your time and weren’t able to win? Lebron wants to enjoy playing basketball again, he enjoys having fun and he obviously wasn’t in Cleveland in the end and his play suffered because of it. He didn’t dog it on purpose he imploded psychologically, it’s why he looked lazy/tired.

Kobe is the example that no matter how much you try you can’t catch Jordan. Lebron just wants to be Lebron.

To play with and grow with Jordan. Jordan’s Team had GREAT Role players which is all the great ones require. Just Role Players. Not Other GREAT ONES. If like the Celtics(Bird, Parrish, Mchale) they happened to end up on the same team that’s different. But when they “Scheme” to get it done it’s a difference. LOVE the “Scheme Team” name for Miami. I hope it catches on.
Who Knows Maybe J.J Hickson could have been the WingMan Lebron needed in Cleveland. Maybe if Lebron didn’t tank it against the Celtics we would have found out. But now Lebron himself is nothing more than a Wing Man.

I hate Lebron as much as anyone could, but the guy signed a 3 year deal for a reason. It was his chance to leave if he didn’t like the direction the team was going or any other reason he could think of. He basically said, I may leave. We give Cleveland too much credit for making moves, when every move they made usually just netted them older players on the downside of their careers. The one year that could have gotten a really good player for nothing was the year they had Wally. Lots of teams were looking for a salary dump, but they wouldn’t pull the trigger. If it’s truly all about winning it could have been debated that Chicago was the best choice with money, but it’s hard to argue against your chances when you join forces with another top 5 player and another guy that is in the top 15. In my opinion they are doing a better job of recruiting people with only minimum slots and exceptions than with what Cleveland was able to do with more money and trades in the whole time he was there.

Credit Miami for putting themselves in the position to be the one team that could attempt to sign 3 Max level guys. Credit Lebron, Bosh and Wade for leaving some money on the table to make it happen. Give the Cavs some blame for not making smarter moves. I can’t blame the guy for not wanting to spend the next few years playing with Varejo, Williams, the guy that is dating his mom and antwan jamison.

wait somebody just compared KG, Ray Allen, and Gasol getting traded to teams, to Lebron leaviing Cleveland and signing with Miami…now if that aint a hard core LBJ fan, i dont kow what is.

The fact is, Lebron isnt held to the same standard as alot of players, 99% of the players in the league could go sign with any NBA team they want and not receive any hate, outside of maybe the team they are leaving. Lebron isnt in that group, he is a 2 time MVP and a guy people have hyped up as being the next great player in the NBA and somebody who has a chance to go down as one the greatest of all time…those kind of players, simply dont leave their teams to go join another already stacked team. Plain and simple, theres no argument that can be made anymore, Lebron just aint that player anymore. So when LBJ fans wonder why bron is catching backlash, remember that none of the “great players” left their teams, and if they did, I for some reason doubt that they wouldve done it on national TV…that move was classless and dirt low.

Biggysmalls, you are right the KG, Allen, Gasol comparison isn’t a good comparison, the reason is because they were traded, by the owners, they didn’t have a choice, the owners made it for them. Lebron wouldn’t have a no trade clause in his contract because he didn’t have 8 years of experience and the owner he played for has entire control over what he does.

Kobe has asked to be traded to a more competitive team.

Jordan left to play baseball after winning three championships. He quit on his team too and the only reason he returned is because he wasn’t successful playing baseball. If he had liked it and never returned he wouldn’t even be considered the best ever.

I agree the national TV broadcast was the problem.

Great players who left their teams to play with better players:
    Kareem Abdul Jabar
Barkley demanded a trade from the 76ers who drafted him
Wilt threatened to leave for the ABA if he wasn’t traded from the 76ers
Clyde Drexler asked to be traded to a contender from Portland which the blazers honored
Moses Malone was sent in a sign and trade to the 76ers after Houston matched the 76ers offer in FA
Shaq left for LA from Orlando
Bill Walton demanded a trade from Portland

So great players do leave their teams during the height of their careers. People need to stop focusing on the fact Jordan, Magic, or Bird never left their teams. Look at the star players who were great who didn’t ever leave their team, then look at the championships, the finals they appeared in and ask yourself if they felt they were in the best position for them to win. Stockton/Malone knew that if they had gone to another team their fortunes wouldn’t improve.

Lebron NEVER asked to be traded he improved his fortunes by leaving. The way he did it was wrong but it’s what a majority of people wanted, so don’t burn him for doing something the fans wanted.

All I got to say once Jordan says something who except for an a$$hole will disagree? No great player would have done their team they way LeBron done it and even if they win 6 rings guess what they are suppose too they have a top 3 talent at 3 spots in their starting lineup! What really going to kill LeBron in the media is when the Cavs make the playoffs and make some noise which I hope they will because every LeBron fan is saying they would be a lottery team without him now we get to see.
