JordoParticipantJust when I thought Ernie Grunfeld couldn’t get any worse. He trades for a guy who’s done for the year and a FA…

220ParticipantYeah that’s pretty bad. The Wizards didn’t even bother to get a second round pick.

Professor RozayParticipantI like Boston adding another wing scorer to that roster. I think Crawford can help them for the remainder of the season.

SiggyParticipantlol. Trading Crawford for a guy with a torn ACL.
Wizards continue purging the idiots off the team. They’re making a clear statement.

220ParticipantWhat has Crawford done that labels him an idiot?

FastAndFuriousParticipantTerrible shot selection, I think Crawford could really be good in the NBA, but he’s gotta learn how to do other things besides score………..inefficently lol
0- Posted on: Thu, 02/21/2013 - 2:51pm #749858

220ParticipantThat’s fair, but I still wouldn’t call someone an idiot for having terrible shot selection. He’s not the only guy like that and he’s still young so there’s more time for him to learn.
Benchwarmer : the I can be better than Michael Jordan statement is more arrogant than idiotic to me…I can see how that could be seen as idiotic though.

XYRYXParticipantI like this one for the Celtics. If someone gets his head straight, it will be Doc Rivers. I’m sooooo happy the Celtics didn’t trade Pierce for something or maybe J-Smooth!
Paul Pierce should be Celtic forever. I know it’s wrong to live in the past and Ainge has to move this forward but he should trade Bass, Terry or even Rondo first until he moves PP.
In the end I don’t have a clue what the Wizards were thinking. Can’t believe they couldn’t get a 1st rounder (2014) for Crawford let alone I don’t know what they want with a one legged Barbosa… To save money is one thing in the summer but you can always flip a draftpick intomsomething on draft day. But I know, it’s the Wizards. I kind of start to feel sorry for John Wall….

aamir543ParticipantAre you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!They got absolutely NOTHING! I can guarantee you that Barbosa isn’t going to re-sign when he recovers, and no disrespect, but Jason Collins should not be on an NBA roster. This is essentially NOTHING. They couldn’t even get a 2nd round pick, are you kidding me! He was averaging 19 points, 5 boards, and 4 assists during a 19 game stretch earlier this season, and he’s on a cheap a$$ rookie contract!!!!!! Eddie Grunfeld should be fired on the spot, Crawford isn’t even in a contract year, I’m sure SOMEONE would’ve been willing to give up a late first rounder to take a flier on him for a year and a half. This is unacceptable, the Wizards are such a badly run organization, its sad.

Malik-UniversalParticipanti feel bad for wizard fans

omphalosParticipantEh, they decided he wasn’t part of their future, they cut some salary (Barbosa is an expiring contract) and have positioned themselves better for next year. I don’t mind this move, obviously not too many people were keen on him and he was probably a disgruntled locker-room presence they could do without as they build towards next year.
