JoeWolf1I’ll be spending my entire day watching college basketball, and a guy that Ive been aware of for a few years, but haven’t gotten a chance to see since he was in high school due to a Redshirt, is Jonathan Motley.
He really looked good during the first half against South Carolina. He has the same length and mobility he had in high school, but he’s clearly been hitting the weights during his redshirt year and has filled out pretty nicely.
Motley is a very active body, who showed some nice back to the basket and face up moves, as well as a nice shooting touch. He’s got a pretty long wingspan at around 6’9” and has altered a lot of shots for the Bears.
This Baylor team is going to struggle to score from time to time, and Motley could very well be a guy who steps into that scoring role for the Bears this season. As a redshirt freshman, he’s certainly a guy to put on your radar going forward if he’s not already there.

TRC1991ParticipantI’ll be joining ya on the couch.
Memphis looks very Pasner-esque once again:
– no rhythm
– no clear go-to guy
– inconsistent
– 1 on 1 play
