MCRIZZParticipantFirst Half against spain:
Not much play time here in the first half but first touch he has goes to dunk on pau and is fouled..Misses both free throws… On D rubio drives the lane and immediately Val makes his presence felt forcing rubio to lay the ball short of the rim….Then just before the end of the first half Val got a shot in the lower back from Pau (forearm) and fell to the floor…He lay there for a bit but got up and nailed both free throws… ON D he held his back the whole time until the end of the half….
In his time on the floor he put up 2 points in 5 minutes with 2 fouls
Second Half:
Jonas is not getting many minutes at all but he came back into the game around garbage time (got some heart to come back in especially at garbage time after the injury)…He makes an immediate impact forcing a turnover on ibaka. He then proceeded to draw a foul on ibaka followed by an out of bounds play which led to a dunk. Another nice running hook across the lane with iblaka at his back for another deuce. Val then picked up another foul on ibaka and hit both free throws..Another forced turnover on D against ibaka with some good D….
In total no way he played more than 12 minutes and picked up 8 points (not sure about rebounds)….and in my opinion did not look out of place playing against ibaka or pau….

seniokasParticipantJust found Jonas stats
10 points 3/5 from game and 4/6 from the line, 3 rebounds and amazing 3 blocks and 6 fouls commited just per 11 minutes of game. From what i saw in the game at very first time when he stepped in the court he was little bit nervous but very fast he started to play like usually. It was great to watch how competitive he is when was fighting with Ibaka for the spot in the post, it was seen very well that Ibaka is still a lot stronger but Jonas held his own. While I’m lithuanian I have especially high expectations about Jonas so it was great to watch him playing against NBA starters level players. Finally , I have to say that I will be very very very dissapointed if our coach Kemzura would not take Jonas to final roster.

MCRIZZParticipantI think he only had 5 fouls but none the less those fouls are a bit concerning but bare in mind that Pau gets the royal treatment everytime he touches the ball…
