How about his preseason 27pts 9ast 4reb , yes they played against worse team but it was good, i like 9assists alot but how 27points? seems nothing like bust

and, DeMarcus Cousins, he played even better than Patterson and he played just around 20min he had 20pts6rebs and nice numbers in blocks, i see lottery-pick easily

    thoughts?

They are going to be dominate, I can see already. Too much firepower. But they won win the title unless they realy defend. They have the ability to defend, but whether or not they do is the question. And how will they score if teams start throwing zones at them to make them shoot jumpers? Wall is an underrated shooter, but he’s mediocre. Cousins is their best shooter, not a good proposition.

but if Tyreke without perfect jumper led Memphis to 23win streak or something…why they can’t dominate in every game. and yes Memphis wasn’t on final four but they wasn’t so talented also..IMO

BTW interesting, and if im not wrong Wall started that game with three-pointer.

The kentucky wildcats are going to be a PROBLEM for all teams this year. They may be the only team in college basketball with more height/length than your typical NBA squad!!!! I mean you are talking about 6 CONTRIBUTORS 6’6 or taller ( D. Miller, P. Stevenson, P. Patterson, D. Orton, D. Cousins, D. Liggins). With the depth they have, the athleticism, imagine the full court presses they can throw at you and potential turnovers into fast breaks with this team.
I agree with you Iguodala, their lack of perimeter scoring makes me hesitant to crown them champs just yet, luckily the dribble drive has proven to be successful without a 3 point specialist. Calipari has a problem most coaches would love to have, finding minutes and a solid rotation for cruch time situations…For now I will say Elite 8 but I reserve judgement until 10 games in and see what kind of rotation they roll out!

Lets see if this can translate into the regular season and beyond.

I watched this game.  Wall was unstoppable but he still isn’t perfect.  Athletically he was a couple notches above the players defending him.  He still made too many turnovers.  He missed quite a few layups on fast breaks.  He gets carried away too often.  He can get to the rim at will but has trouble finishing sometimes.  He often overdribbles in traffic.

Dodson looks to be the teams best perimeter shooter at the moment. For a JUCO transfer he looks like he will make a very solid contribution this season.

Bledsoe didn’t play in this game but I watched him in another game.  He is very underrated right now.  He is defnitely being overlooked.  I’m telling you Bledsoe is a very good player.

Cousins is a beast & he does look like a lottery pick for sure.

I posted this in another thread but I see Kentucky losing 5 games this season.  They should be a #1 seed in the tournament and at least make it to the final four.   They have a really weak regular season schedule IMO.

yeah they should be very good and theres no reason they houldnt get to the final four..i have to wait untill they play a good team though because that division 2 team was like playing a highschool team …and not one of the top 25 highchool teams
