Everybody on this site forgot that john wall didnt even play a ncaa game yet but he already a bust how… he can shoot better than you think but he dont have to cause he a gifted player that can do anything else he wants any time. People say B.Knight is better stop it just cause wall didnt go to duke dnt hate on him(u kno who u are)

I’m not hating on Wall at all. For me personally I think he’s the 3rd best up and coming point guard. I would gladly take Rose over him and would flip a coin on him and Jennings.

auber i can respect that,him and rose are alike in so many ways coming to college rose couldnt shoot but him improve and got stronger;… everyone just give wall time

He’s not as fast or as quick as Rose or Jennings, and can’t pass as good as Jennings. He may have longer arms but he is not as athletic or explosive as either one of them. Derrick Rose and Brandon Jennings are a notch ahead of him athletically.

Is John Wall fast? Yea, really fast but not the fastest. Is he quick? Yea but not the quickest. IMO he is kind of overhyped, and I don’t know why. I think he is more of a Rondo (which is great) than Rose. Rondo has great athleticism, but he’s not as explosive like Rose and Jennings are.

I have never commented on a John Wall thread because i have only seen him play one game. It was a game where his team demolished the other team so i dont think it was a fair game to rate the guy on. However, (BTW im not hatin on ya) they guy who described his game in the start of the post described a future hall of famer. I cant say he is a bust, but there are tons of athletic point guards without a jumper who dont make it. Untill i see him play in the NBA, i will continue to keep my mouth shut about what i think about him. Afterall, who hasnt been wrong before??

No that’s an opinion. I got tapes on Wall and even the scouts my family got it from (Florida & Syracuse University) wrote on inside that’s he’s fast but not as fast as Jennings presented.

i’m not hating on wall or anything, like you said SDE, let the kid play. that being said, i don’t think any of us can clearly say that he’s going to be a bust or the greatest. you can think that all you want, that’s fine, but you really can’t say one position is right or wrong at this point.

you cant say people cant call him a bust when he hasnt even played a game in college and then turn around and say he is faster then this nba guy or better then that nba guy. Do you know why?..the same reason you cant call him a bust, because he hasnt played a game in college yet. The same reasons you get on people about calling him a bust is the same reason you cant say hes better then rose rondo, jennings or any other nba point guard. All the things he did in highschool he did against other highschool kids most of which wont play hig done college basketball and maybe 1percent will even touch a nba court
