Tobe BryantParticipantDon’t be naive about the situatuion. The Wizards are a terrible team and will not win a championship NO time soon. What’s the chance, gimme a percent, that John Wall leaves, questions front office decisions, or stays with Washington and be a talented player on a horrible team.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantThey are a big city with plenty of salary cap space available over the next few years provided they play their cards right. They have an exciting young building block in Wall and other talented young players like Vesely, McGee and Crawford. With good front office decisions over the next couple seasons there is absolutely NO reason they can’t build a contender and keep Wall happy in the future.

Anton123ParticipantAfter a sloppy start Wall has been absolutely ballin’ the last 10 or so games, scoring 20+ and flirting with triple-doubles every day.
I feel that if the Wizards can trade Blatche, draft a very good player this year and get a good coach, they will have a late playoff seed in the 2012-2013 season. Then Rashards contact expires and they can really make some noise with a signing or two.
Sure they suck and are absolutely frustrated, but with the right moves and their players progressing, they can actually be very good

delfamParticipantmaybe this is just me, but if the Wizards got the #1 pick I’d love for them to trade the pick and maybe Blatche to the Hornets for there two picks. I feel a Brad Beal and MKG backcourt with John Wall would be perfect, slide Singelton to PF and McGee at Center and you have a pretty good team to mature with in the future.

Zeke313ParticipantI hate it when a team starts struggling then all of a sudden rumors start spreading about the star player leaving and being traded to the lakers. Historically bad franchises and small market teams will never get a fair shake wit
h this attitude. Jeez this is Wall’s second season if he were to leave his team now or in the forseeable future during an obvious rebuilding process, I’d have to question his character.0 - Posted on: Mon, 01/23/2012 - 5:30pm #628098

GrandmamaParticipantThey need a new coach, and definitely need to land a big name in free agency next year….along with a stud with their probable top 5 pick.

Tobe BryantParticipantI NEVER SAID HE WAS LEAVING! I asked what was the chances that he may look to make some noise about maybe moving. Only a few people above caught it. But of course Washington would let him walk just like that.
