MelParticipantAm I the only one who feels different about Wall than you did with Rose or any #1 pick in a while.
He brings a different kind of excitement. He got the Reebok shoe deal and has his shoe coming out Oct. 5 … I usually dont buy shoes because athletes endorse them but Wall has marketability because I want a pair. I havent wanted a reebok shoe since A.I.’s 3 season lol http://www.dimemag.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/P6230178-480×360.jpg

canesboy6Participantthere decent. I can see em catching on. Too flashy for my taste, I like my shoes nice but understated.
Blake Griffin will be ROY And it wont even be close IMO. Dude has had a full year to learn the game, and people forget what a straight up wrecking ball he was in college.

RUDEBOY_Participantyeah…Jordans are the best basketball shoes ever made..Nike and Jordan should give the designer a 40% of the profits..
but i keep telling people Walls is going to be ”SPECIAL”…He has the skills to average 18 to 22 points a game..becuz of his speed..ball handling skills and the ability to get anywhere on the floor he wants..plus he attacks the basket which will get him to the free throw line….his biggest weakness is his lack of a jump shot..But like all great players he knows this is something he has to work on…And having a defender like Hinrich and an offensive player like Arenas are big pluses…
I expect him to have the biggest impact as a rookie since Lebron came into the league…

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantHe’s a true stud and He’s grown on me…He has the skills at size to be Wade like scoring 2G or Derrick Rose like PG…I think the Wiz are a Sf away from being an 8th seed, scare the crap out of 1 seed Team…

ghettosermonParticipant^^ I don’t get it. You are a Wizards fan but have Dwade and the division rival Heat in your avatar?

WizardofOzParticipantThe Wizards are much improved from last year, mainly because of John Wall. I think they will make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed. Wall will have an instant impact and will make all of his teammates better, Gil is finally healthy, Javale has really progressed during the offseason, Dray put up all-star numbers late last season, and I look for him to carry that performance iinto this season, and they have solid role players. I just don’t know why people say New York is better than the Wizards.
