Darius22ParticipantPer Marc Stein
Hearing John Salmons will wind up signing a new deal with New Orleans after his recent release by Atlanta
Guy will be a stop gate at SF since the pelicans don’t have match cap space I like the move since we have limited cap space and not really better options at SF for our price

Chilbert arenasParticipantA guy born in 70s who averaged 5 pts a game last year but actually a good pick up. Still effective on the defensive end and will bring veteran leadership to a young roster.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI guess it’s an alright move, I feel like they would be better off without waiving Cassipi to be honest. Cassipi is young, was going to make less than $1.5m, and is a solid offensive player who gives a solid effort on the defensive end.
The Pelicans have a lot of nice pieces in place: A young 2 way point guard in Jrue, a scoring SG in Eric Gordon (although I’ve heard he’s on the trade block), a franchise PF in Anthony Davis, a defensive C in Asik, an excellent guard off the bench in Tyreke Evans and a very good depth big man that can stretch the floor in Ryan Anderson. But they have an absolute void at SF.
