sammybuckeye13Participant…And he didn’t even start. What is this guy’s ceiling? Despite the fact that he’s still wiry thin, it doesn’t seem to have affected him at all this year. He’s averaging 16.7-12.2 and 1.5 blocks per 36 minutes as a rook. He and Sanders could be an amazing big man combo and when you factor in the 6-10 Ilyasova at SF, suddenly the Bucks have one of the most intriguing frontcourts in the league. Here’s to a 30 rebound, 10 block performance from Henson tonight. Lol.

dbaumParticipantJohn Henson is capable of being a solid player in this league. He needs to develop a consistent post move and have an offensive game in order for him to take his game to the next level. Also adding a little more weight to have more of a presence in the paint would make him even better.

drk3351ParticipantFor someone who has not much of a offensive game, and is super skinny, it is impressive what he’s doing in the league. Many people thought he could get abused down low even though he’s long because of his frame. Or outrebounded, but it hasn’t happened. Goof for him.

RafterParticipantVucevic is having a great game too, 18pts, 14rebs and 2blks in 25 minutes of play.

machu46ParticipantI absolutely hated the pick when Milwaukee originally took him, but he’s really impressed me this year. I far underrated his basketball IQ. Even on the offensive end, he isn’t very skilled yet, but he has a nice feel for the game and makes some nice passes from the post. I really like a future front court rotation of Sanders, Henson, and Ilyasova.

frogmanParticipantJesus that’s a lot of rebounds in this game. What were the shooting percentages? 10% each?

river09ParticipantI love watching the bucks. I’m a die hard wolves fan, but that backcourt (Ellis and Jennings) along with all the different characters up front and on the wings I really enjoy watching them play.. I’ve always been a fan of Henson. I did think he would get bounced around too much in the NBA (being a toothpick and all, narrowest shoulders ever). But at the very least I think he’ll stick around, it’d nice to be proven wrong…

JoeWolf1I think Henson could be a 14 ppg 9 rpg 2 bpg player in his prime. His length is fantastic and he has that nice 10 foot jumper that he will continue to hone. He reminds me of Taj Gibson in a lot of ways and, like Taj, I think he can be an elite backup for a team with a high scoring PF or a starter for a team that gets most of it’s points on the perimeter.
