Does anyone else look at him and just not see a successful NBA player?

I’m just guessing you’re saying this because his body type resembles many that have lacked serious levels of success in the league (anthony randolph, brandan wright, tyrus thomas)

solid, but never an all-star.  Not strong enough, not skilled enough to play the 3.  He’ll be better than Brandan Wright, but nothing more than a rotation player.

probably. its really hard to look at him and not see brandon wright. he’s just sooo skinny, and he doesnt look like a can put on weight. maybe a rotation player down the road but i just don’t see him ever having a real impact

i see a great energy player who rebound and defend well, probably of the bench, remind me very much Amir Johnson!

I see him as an Ok player at the next level. I think about 10-12p 7-8reb and top 10-15 in the league in blocks is about his ceiling…

I like him and think he’ll succeed thanks to his work ethic, but, and this is a big one, he has such a high bust potential due to his comparables that if I were a GM, I’d let him be someone else’s risk until the mid-first.

I like him too, he doesn’t have great range, but he has a really soft touch in the 8-10 foot range a lot like Serge Ibaka.  With his length and shot blocking paired with that soft jumper, I think he’ll find a spot getting regular minutes pretty early.

Theo Ratliff, Serge Ibaka, Sam Dalembert, who ever you want to draw comparisons to, guys like him have had success in the league and I see Henson doing the same thing.

Ibaka is a physical specimen and that will never be said about Henson. I see him potentially slipping in the draft and for good reason…I don’t see him as a successful NBA player.

I would live with what he is (just a shot blocker who will have to come off the bench and be a matchup player) in the lower third of the first round. In the lottery, it is a bad value and assures a team of being in the lottery again next year.
