Magic JordanParticipantWell unfortunately the NBA never smartens up. Joey Crawford is officiating game 4 which means its going back to San Antonio tied 2 2. Why the NBA continues to let this guy officiate Spurs games is beyond me. There are plenty…. Well not plenty but there are other good officials who don’t come with the stigma of hating one of the teams playing.

tuck243ParticipantBUT tries to control it. That alone shouldn’t allow him to be a ref in the playoffs.
I put the asterisk by the fair part because the team he’s not fair on is the Spurs. He HATES the Spurs and Duncan… I’m with you, no way he should be allowed to ref ANY game that include the Spurs. If you look at the official stats with him as the referee of the Spurs game it’s almost laughable at the disparity of calls. He’s human, so if you don’t like someone it’s hard to NOT be bias against them. Regardless if it’s your job not to be. It’s impossible.

Magic JordanParticipantYeah, and even if he does call it fair. Why would the NBA leave it to chance or risk it? Its like driving home after you’ve had a couple drinks…. Sure you are good to drive but if you get caught its a DUI… So why risk it?

ZachAttackParticipantI hate Joey Crawford also… He makes it pretty easy to tell that he’s a Heat fan, or at least that’s what I thought until you brought up that he hated Duncan. Well, I just know that he’s gonna make the Heat win the Championship if he keeps reffing.

joecheck88ParticipantI very much hate the Spurs. I don’t like the Heat but my passionate hate for the Spurs means I don’t care if Joey fouls Kawhi out in the first quarter. Lol
honestly I am ready for the draft. The nba finals bore me. I’m ready for a league wide changing off season with draft and FA(Melo) and trades(maybe love and rondo).

Hector_Reyes_8ParticipantMy original prediction of 4-1 Spurs went out the window. Damn Crawford hates Tim and loves LeBron.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantJoey Crawford reffed Game 6 last year. Now, my history is a little hazy Cassius, but was it Joey Crawford who locked down Tim Duncan (only 30 points and 17 rebounds), fouled him out (all of 2 fouls), missed Manu Ginobili and Kawhi Leonard’s free throws, got Danny Green to quick release after LeBron’s missed the three, and sprinkled magic dust on Ray Allen?
If so, what a jerk.
