     Just a quick thought: 

    Even with his injury concerns, would Joel Embiid have been the first overall pick in the draft of 2013?

     I know he is a freshman, but hypothetically, I think it would have been a no-brainer, especially since Cleveland reached for Anthony Bennett (not 1st pick material at all) and their need at center was bigger than their need at PF, so why not reach for someone who plays a position where you have less depth?

    Also, if Bennett didn’t get picked first by Cleveland because of Embiid, where would he’ve been drafted?

    He could of fell similar to Noel. There was no parker or wiggins in that draft so maybe he still could of went number 1 due to that draft not being nearly as strong.

     Bennett would not have dropped past #3 to wizards. They were enamored by him.

    He wouldn’t have gone #1 to the Cavs since Dan Gilbert was so set on making the playoffs. Obviously Bennett wasn’t the win now player they thought he was but clearly Embiid wouldn’t have been that either. That’s if we’re considering the injuries that we now know of.
