I agree. I watched him play aau ball on espnu this summer and he has the passing ability, instincts, and always keeps his head up reminiscent of Kendall Marshall but he’s a better scorer but not as great a passer yet

yea you saw him play that game against randle huh?

me too, and i thought he was great. i just saw his mixtape on youtube and i thought i shared it.

i just searched him up in this sites search-bar and the poster ‘onions’ started a thread about him after that game, basically saying he was a stud

I’d put him slightly ahead of Jordan McLoughlin as the 3rd best PG in the class of 2014.  What he has over Jordan is physical maturity, strength and he’s better at running an offense and distributing the ball.  Reminds me  a bit of Trey Burke.

Hes ok from the game i saw. he is not athletic. I love the Marshall comparison. He just seems consistent, which is good

I wouldn’t call him unathletic at all.  He can get up and throw it down if he needs to, already has good body strength and he’s got good speed and solid quickness (he’s more fast than quick IMO).  He just knows how to play at pace and doesn’t play AAU style, 100 miles an hour all the time a la young John Wall or Marquis Teague which is typical of young PGs. For example, instead of grabbing the ball off the rim and dribbling up the floor full speed, he keeps his head up, surveys the floor and will make the hit ahead pass if it’s there.  There’s a maturity to his game that is refreshing to see.

He was actually more of a scoring point who balanced out his game recently, but he can put the ball in the hole and has a knack for using his body strength to finish drives in the paint.  Berry’s also a good defender because of his strength, low center of gravity and lateral quicks.  Combine the difference in size, speed, defense and scoring ability, I don’t see the Kendall Marshall comparison at all.
