joecheck88ParticipantThis is just off the top of my head. So please be gentle. Let me know what you think.
1) NO- Anthony Davis- I am not super sold on Davis but I do not think he will be a bust. Just maybe not the superstar many think.
2) CHA- Harrison Barnes- I think they should trade this pick but for aguments sake lets say they don’t. Barnes won’t fix this team. He is however a solid piece for the future. A number 2 option in my mind. Maybe they get a superstar next year.
3) WASH- Andre Drummond- Will look great running with Wall. Some mention Nene. Nene is older, injury prone and can play PF. That is not a problem. Bust potential? Yes but I see Drummond at worst as a tyson Chandler type. And he is already stronger than Tyson at the same stage.
4) CLE- MKG- I like MKG but am not in love with him. I think this is a good fit for him with Irving. If they can get a good shooting 2 then MKG will thrive for years as defensive stopper and 3rd option.
5) SAC- Bradley Beal- Good character, good player. I think with Beal you are getting a steady player. He is a good shooter and finisher and defender. I think tyreke is going to be gone soon and beal steps in as the 2.
6) PORT- Thomas Robinson- This could be traded but if not Portland is smart and will take BPA. He can play the 4 with Aldridge at the 5 for stretches.
7) GSW- Terrance Jones- I think he is a legit 4 with 3 skills. He doesn’t fix their hole at the 3 and isn’t as good as David Lee but this guy belongs. Maybe David Lee becomes expendable.
8) Tor- Austin Rivers- He also has a promise from a team. Some think this is Waiters spot but BC denies it. This team could use a guy that creates for himself. Rivers does this in a Monte Ellis kind of way. Mind you he scores like Monte Ellis, the rest of his game needs to catch up.
9) DET- Meyers Leonard- John Henson is here for alot of people. I think he slips. Monroe is super skilled allowing him to play the 4. Leonard can be everybit the defender Henson could and more with his bulkier body.
10) NO- Damien Lillard- Alot of people have Lillard here. Rumor is he tested out about as athletic and big as Derrick Rose. Now, he isn’t Rose, but the guy can score the rock and help handle some of the ball handling with EJ(if he stays).
11) PORT- Dion Waiters- Has a promise. Would he stop workouts for a pick at 11? IDK but if he is here, I think he fits Portland assuming Crawford is gone.
12) MIL- Jared Sullinger- They traded Bogut and his inside scoring. Sullinger can give them some inside looks. Plus he spaces the floor for Monte and BJ.
13) PHX- PJ3- This a swing for the fences pick. If he pans out, he starts the rebuilding process a year early. If he doesn’t? Well Phoenix isn’t going to be very good for awhile anyway.
14) HOU- Tyler Zeller- I think this is a perfect fit. This team needs a C and Zeller is a skilled C. Learning from McHale will do wonders for him. I see this guy as a 10-12 year starter.
15) PHI- Jeremy Lamb- Philly gets a guy that spreads the floor and will move around. they have guys in Holiday and Turner that can handle the rock. Now let Lamb run off screens and shoot.
16) HOU- Kendall Marshall- They will probably have to trade Lowry and may lose Dragic. Marshall gives them someone they can trust at the backup 1 spot.
17) DAL- Terrance Ross- This team can use young talent anywhere. Ross gives them an athletic wing for the future. Not a bad pick up at 17.
18) MIN- Doron Lamb- I am a huge D Lamb fan. I think he will be a very good pro. He played his role at Kentucky so well that he got lost a bit. He has decent size and can handle the ball some. Should be great next to Love and Rubio. Hell, I think he can be all rookie first team here.
19) ORL- Fab Melo- Dwight is going to be gone and picking up an athletic strong 7 footer won’t hurt. He won’t be Dwight but he should be a good player for years.
20) DEN- Tony Wroten- Andre Miller might be gone and with the exception of Ty Lawson, they don’t have anybody to break their man down. Wroten could provide that.
21) BOS- John Henson- Athletic shot blocker. Any team could use that. I have him slipping to here but think the Cs would take him.
22) BOS- John Jenkins- You need shooters around Rondo and I am not sure Ray Allen comes back.
23) Moe Harkless- Some say they need a C. Horford is fine there. Its not like he gets bullied by the Cs of the 90s. He sees Howard and Bynum 6 times. Every other game he is the best C on the floor. No, Marvin Williams is their weak link. Harkless probably isn’t ready but he could pay dividends down the road.
24) CLE- Festus Ezeli- Replacement for Varejao one day. Big strong defensive C. I think this solidifies CLE draft. 2 good defensive players. They will still need another scorer but they are well on their way to being the next "OKC"
25) MEM- Marquis Teague- They need a backup PG. Plus with OJ Mayo likely out soon, maybe they get creative and play Teague at the 2 for short stretches.
26) IND- Royce White- Can back up Granger and David West. Good value this deep in the draft. It may even make Granger more expendable.
27) Miami- Andrew Nicholson- Seems like a ready player. He isn’t the big C they want but he is a skilled big that can give them minutes when needed.
28) OKC- Jeff Taylor- Durant back up and could make Thabo expendable. They may not be able to afford Thabo with their core of Ibaka, Durant, Westbrook, Perkins, & Harden. Taylor could be that defender they need.
29) Chicago- Arnett Moultrie- BPA. Falls considerably after not working out. Makes Taj Gibson expendable so they can maybe bring in a sidekick for Rose.
30) GS- Khris Middleton- I think he could sneak into the first round. Measured well and could be the teams 3.

WizardofOzParticipant-Don’t think Henson falls all the way to #21.
-Robinson might be BPA @ #6, but I’m not liking an LMA/T-Rob frontcourt. Their games don’t complement each other.
