trust me , you dont want him, he is not that good, The Suns already have a good roster( Amare Pending), They have young players to develop already. They should use their pick for a Euro who is playing over seas or a big who is more athletic. I saw this guy play against Zoubek when they played Duke and Zoubek is better.

He could be around then, but I don’t know if he’d be a good fit for Pheonix. He’s not the kind of player that can play at that speed very effectively, but he could be a perfect fit for a team like Milwaukee or Portland that could use depth at the C position.

Last thing Portland needs is depth at the C position…Oden, Pryz and Camby. Anyhow, he wouldn’t be a good fit for the Suns. They already have Lopez anyways.

I think the Suns should look to pick someone like Latavious Williams at 46. And athletic and physically gifted combo forward who can rebound and has big potential on D.

Jordan outplayed Whiteside this season averaging 23 pts 12 rbs and 2.5 blocks against him. I don’t think he’ll ever be more than a backup or starter when injuries hit, but he’s more NBA ready right now than Whiteside. I think he’s probably close to as good as Javale McGhee was last year, just without the upside.

2nd round picks are a crap shoot. If you find one that can help your team eventually you did good. If you find one that can help you immediately you did great. If you build your team around 2nd round players and make the playoffs with a team full of them you are the Utah Jazz. Utahs’ only 1st rd picks on their roster are Deron WIlliams and AK47, the rest were 2nd rd or undrafted.

I’m a big believer in Jerome Jordan and if he is put on the right team he could be a very solid if not good NBA center (the suns are not his style of play). I feel like he could be a guy that could average 15 and 10 and a block and a half a night. It all depends if he is put in the right situation though because this guys has lots of talent

i think jerome jordan will be kendrik perkins with a 15 foot jumpshot. perkins gives 8 and 8 but his precense on the floor changes the game in ways stats dont show. i think jordan will give you similar numbers, but hell be more offensive minded.

so is 15 and 10 unrealistic? you said he’d be more offensive minded and he’s got more skill than Perk

The thing that makes me nervous about Jordan is he picked up the game late. Often times a player who picks up the game late turns out like Jerome Moiso or Saer Sene. Both were lottery picks and neither did anything of note in the league. In fact, Sene was cut by the team who drafted him during the season. A lottery pick has to be pretty bad for a team to just say nevermind.

And “Steve from Nowthen”, not to be that guy, but Kosta Koufos was also a first round pick on the Jazz roster. He wasn’t a major contributor last year, but he was still on the roster.

Knicks need to sign Jerome Jordan. He looks pretty good in workout and he put up decent numbers in college. Also he just started playing in high school so i am sure he can be a decent big man in a few years.

hes not a 15 and 10 guy but he might give you 12 and 8. hes not a great rebounder but i like his shot if he played on the suns hed fit in better with amare than lopez because of his descent midrange shot.

he wouldnt fit well with the suns at all. he’s a half court back to the basket scorer who doesnt run very well and the suns try to get a shot off in less than 7 seconds. see where that doesnt work out?

he has lots of talent and if he makes it on a team that slows it down and allows him to work 1 on 1 in the post he can easily average 15 and if he averaged 30 – 35 minutes a night i dont think 10 rebounds and 1.5 blocks is too much for him.

i’m speaking about his potential and what i think he can do. now whether or not he does it is up to him and the situation he’s put in

Jerome Jordan is AT BEST an 10 ppg 7 rpg and 1.5 bpg player. And I might be pushing it. If he was a potential 15 10 and 2 guy he’d be going to the Utah Jazz or Detroit Pistons with the 7th or 9th pick.
