BigSmoothParticipantJeremy Lin added yet another impressive game to his resume against big name schools yesterday, a few days after going off on UConn with 30 points. From watching him play, it is obvious that this kid is legit. Quotes from ESPN’s Andy Katz and UConn coach Jim Calhoun support that stance. From what I’ve seen and read, it seems like Lin is deserving of a good shot in the NBA draft, and further, it seems like he definitely has NBA-level talent, as he consistently plays HUGE against big name schools and other projected NBA draft picks.
Any thoughts?

tonyl33ParticipantTo all my Asian Ballers in the U.S. I’ll love to see Jermey Lin make it to the pros, as I am too, an Asian Americian. He look’s pretty impressive but I don’t know if he’ll make. Maybe he could be a back up, his offensive game kind of reminds me of Steve Blake, not outstanding but a team player.

Forte IVParticipantI mean he’s like 6’3 and 210. He’s got the height and weight to make it in the NBA as a legit PG.

rtbtParticipantHas anyone seen him play against top tier competition? If you have, what were your impressions?

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI saw him play against UConn. He really blew me away. He hit tough shot after tough shot, had a SICK come-from-behing block on Jerome Dyson, and dunked in traffic after taking it the length of the court. His bank-shot 3 pointer over two people made my jaw drop. He looks like a legit 6’3, and I really think he deserves a shot in the 2nd round.

rtbtParticipantThanks juice, that was a very interesting post. Where would you put him in the 2nd round, early, middle, or late?

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI see a team taking a chance on him in the 48-53 range, but I’d like to see him go in the early 2nd round. I think he’s gonna be a steal for whatever team drafts him because he has the talent, but he just doesn’t get enough love.

rtbtParticipantAll right Juice, I’m not quite sure I understand where you think he should go. You see him going between 48 and 53, but then said you’d like to see him go early in the 2nd round. Do you think he’s good enough to merit going very early in the 2nd?

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI’d like to see him get picked in the early 2nd round, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen. He’ll probably be picked in the late 2nd round.
