Just wanted to point this out since he’s fallen back into obscurity.  People were starting to say he wasn’t worth the money which I never believed to be true….dude is ballin….34, 31, and 21 tonight averaging over 18ppg for the season. Plus his team is winning. Might Uck around and be an allstar this year.  6th man if he keeps coming off the bench but I don’t think he will enough by season’s end.

Jeremy looks unbelievably confident…He’s playing at a freakishly high level right now. But in the crowded western conference, he doesn’t stand a chance to make the all-star team with the likes of Curry, Parker, Westbrook, CP3, and Lawson are all having monster years. Plus, mike conley is having a career year…

Also, Harden and D12 are already going to make the squad, and I just see the Rockets getting 3 guys to the all star game

Jeremy is perceptually the sole representative of one of the nbas largest fan bases. He’s got a shot at the all star team.

I think not starting has taken a significant ammount of pressure off his shoulders. But at the same time next season he’ll be getting payed 8 digits, which will be hard for the Rockets to justify with Lin coming off the bench.

I think if you can get him at 6 to 8 million it is worth it, I dont think he is worth 10 million. I have been a big of his since he broke out with the mavs summer league team and the Knicks. His best position seems to be as a sixth man and occasional starter. He can play the PG and SG. Scoring is probably what he is best at. I dont think many people thought he would live up to his contract and he surprisingly did.

His 3point shot % has improve dramatically. With more exp, his turnover per game will drop too.

As of right now I do not think Lin is an allstar. If he could maintain this kind of level through the season, then he definitely could be. I haven’t see any of the Rocket’s past couple of games, but after seeing the boxscore it looks like linsanity is temporarily back!

Dude can ball I think people forget how young he is.  The rockets need some more time to gel but be is the second scoring option on an offensively potent team

His shooting numbers are off the charts and he probably can’t keep this up. But the guy is also clearly getting better. And this isn’t surprising. Remember until three years ago, most of his practice was being done against Harvard’s second string. He was blowing by future dentists and bankers, not NBA players. He’s adjusting to playing against guys who match and sometimes exceed his speed level. It is a learning process. But the size, speed and work ethic is all there. Add in creative passing ability and I continue to be convinced that he is a good starting NBA PG. He just is not nearly as good as Harden and Harden is basically playing the role of scoring PG on that team. Platooning Lin with Harden makes a ton of sense.

He is in much better shape this season than last season.  Last season, he would completely wear out after playing an entire quarter, this season, he can go hard for an entire half

His jumper has improved so much, he completely revamped it and changed it’s form, he actually gives the ball arc now.

Because his jumper is existent, and hitting with regularity, opponents are a little more weary to go under the screens or give him space.  Which opens up his true strength, his driving ability.

He just looks much more comfortable on the court, he seems to score without giving it much thought.

Not only is he averaging 18 PPG, he’s doing it with ONLY 11 shots per game.  That’s almost LeBron James-esque efficiency.
