Tiger1313ParticipantJereme Richmond got the chance to sign onto a semi-pro team…the Sauke Valley Predators and he made his debut tonight.
Had 23 points, 11 Rebounds and 3 blocks…It will be interesting to see his return back and see how close he can get to the league. Anyones thoughts on if he can make it to the NBA? I believe the talent was always there and still is.

tli232You know your career’s not off to a great start when you have to Google where Sauke Valley is. FML

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantHe is playing on a club team that plays at a high school for what probably amounts to gas money. He is a million miles from the NBA, which is frankly where he should be. There is no record of him being anything but an idiot who will embarrass any team that brings him in. Add that onto him being a 6’ 6” forward who doesn’t have a jump shot it doesn’t bode well. Obviously, he needs to assemble game tape and behave himself in order to either get an invitation to a summer league tryout or some low level pro club in the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Japan, or the Philippines.

Tiger1313ParticipantYa obviously he is no where near the NBA right now, which I agree he should be there. However, his dumb decisions have cost him big time. I remember scouts saying if he stayed in school for his Sophomore year he’d probably be a top 10 pick(closer towards 10 though). Always thought the kid had talent and he showed he still does, he just has a LONG road back to where he wants to/should be.

FastAndFuriousParticipantYa that’s exactly why I said a loooooooooooooong journey, this guy is playing at highschools right now, from there it’s either ABA or low level overseas team, to mid level overseas team, to high level, or he could possibly skip some of those steps and go to the D League.
Either way this guy wont be heard from in a couple years, if ever.
