bobbybParticipantPeople forget he is going for the nba and not the “and 1” team, what he did in the McDonalds game is meaningless. He is a poor outside shooter. He only shot about 20% from 3 point land( in case you forgot it is a closer line and you see more zone defense which gives you more open shots). Shooting is what makes guys like Nash, CP3 and Deron Williams so dangerous. You cant play defense too tight, otherwise they drive around you, you cant step back because they will hit the open jumper. Jenning doenst have that

MasrockLacking a great jumpshot is one of the least concering weaknesses a young player can have. That can be developed in a short amount of time. He has all the tools to be a great NBA PG, and the flash to sell tickets and jerseys.

butidonthavemoneyI think Jennings will be a good player but he is a giant asterisk. I’m very curious to see how he will respond to a questionable season this year. The best situation would be for him to go to Golden State. He would make them better and they would make him better. The havoc in the bay needs a breath of fresh air. Funny how the chaos is the remedy for chaos.
Oh, and Baron Davis is NOT the answer for Golden State!

JKHParticipantDon’t worry about BJ. Time will show that he will be the best and by far the most valuable to his franchise pg in the draft!

UNC4eva8806Participantif you want to downgrade Brandon Jennings for the lack of a jumpshot, then why are people so high on Demar Derozan and hit 16% shooting from from long range!!!

Stanford hoopsParticipanti would have had more concerns if not for him going over to europe and learning more about the team game..i really think that experience willhelp him tremendously..though i never played in the nba when i went over seas then came back in played i realized i learned awhole lot..plus you can base youre opinion about him because of the mcdonals game..its a allstar game thats where you bring out youre and 1 moves…if you would have watched him during the season trust me you wouldnt have the same opnion..though some of the flashyness is still there he DOMINATED and hes been doing that since his frehman year in higschool when he was one of the best players in cali…and on top of all though in his first year in europe , though he didnt dominate and anyone who knows euroball knows he wasnt going too” he only averaged 2pts and 2.8ast less than rubio in less min

UNC4eva8806ParticipantYou can’t scout a Euro league player by their stats because most of them never play more than 20 mins per game

knicksfreakParticipantHe was the #1 ranked Highschool player last year!!! That has to count for something.

Untouchable JParticipantHe was unguardable by his peers without a J, so that tells you about his upside…no player out of HS has a NBA ready jumper, scouts look for mechanics which he has.
Plus, he is more athletic AND is quicker than any PG in the class…with more handles. At worst i see him as 1)Damon Stoudemire..and that is a compliment. He avg. 20 ppg as a 5’10’ rookie. Jennings is 6’1 w/ hops. or 2)The white Jayson williams…again a compliment, but jennings again is more athletic

los507ParticipantIf this guy gets on the right team he’s going to be a stud.I hope he doesn’t play for GSjust because of Nellies nature of not sticking with a lineup. This guy has speed and soem of the things that make Tony Parker special and he’s a better passer. Not saying he will be Parker just saying they have some similar traits far as Parker was not a good shooter when he came into the league and he used his speed BJ has speed. He is also a much better passer than Parker at the age. I feel the guy will become a respectable shooter and a good floor general. The guy will be a franchise point guard.Just got a good vibe about him it takes some stones for a small guard like him to take a chance on going to Europe and playing at the highest level knowing it could kill his stock.

a2ParticipantBrandon Jennings will be good. Its not like his jumper is can’t be fixed. He has great passing ability and very athletic. His flashy play is something lots of people will pay to go see where ever he ends up. His numbers didn’t stand out in Europe but he was the number 1 prospect in his class a year ago. He will work on his jumper and will turn out to be an outstanding player.

JNixonParticipantMan yall people who havent seen him play cant be real basketball fans. He was everywhere from the McDonalds game to the Jordan Game. And he showed ridiculous skills when he played. Yall think yall know basketball and havent even seen him play?? Come on man. He had a Kid N Play haircut and was super explosive and had the handle and passing ability to make every1 think he is going to be the next big thing. Where were yall??

Stanford hoopsParticipantand yea you can look at the stats because youre not gonna draft a guard that averages 2pts a game..the state part only applies to young big men

nthegoodlifeParticipantNo one KNOWS what will happen with him, he has all the talent, time will tell though. However, anyone who used a high school all star game to prove something, please stop posting NOW. Greg Paulus had what, 10 assist or something close. Didn’t Gerald Green just kill it. What about jBender? Fall off the hype train, atleast until he suits up.
