dwilks101586ParticipantI got so much ish for posting this about him and now im more then right on this one this was wat i wrote about it
does anyone agree with jeremy tyler decision to go pro after his Jr. year of high school. I think Jennings started something bad not only bad for college basketball but also bad for kids that think they dont need their education an go overseas an wait for the draft. So what if they get injured and be done then what? So I 100% disagree with his decision.
Shocker: Skipping your senior year of HS is a bad idea
RedsArmy.com – The Voice Of Celtics Fans — … Jeremy Tyler was a 6’11” high school phenom who, had he continued playing in high school could have played for one year at any college of his choosing and… potentially… spun that into getting paid millions as an NBA lottery pick. I say he WAS a high school phenom because Jeremy skipped his senior year… went overseas to make $140,000… and THEN make the jump to the NBA. And shocker of shockers… it’s not going so well (via FanHouse). His coach calls him lazy and out of shape. The team captain says he is soft. .0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/11/2009 - 10:29am #228721
td8118ParticipantThat NY Times article was great….I think Tyler is along the lines of a Caracter, someone who brought into his own hype and forgot you had to continue to work hard….I cant see a team taking him in the lottery 2 years from now if he continues this….At the same time, Jennings time in Rome was far from smooth and he turned out OK
