Jr. ROXASParticipantIs this guy the most underrated PG/Player in the league right now or what? Ive been a fan of his since his Wake Forest days and the days where Kirk Hinrich was getting all his playing time haha. The Hawks are rolling and he and Millsap have this thing sweet going on between them that’s just fun to watch. Coach Bud has transformed Teague into top 7-10 PG in this league and little take notice. (About time though he got a Player of the Week award)
Teague as of now is averaging 17.4 points on 48.5% shooting (52% in twos!!) 2.8 rebounds and 7.1 assists a game. That’s all in 31 minutes of action a game and counting the two games he played limited time after a hamstring injury. This guy is for real. He really kinda plays like Tony Parker actually (Bud’s success project). Like Parker, he’s crazy fast, his floaters are unstoppable and his mid-range game is excellent. Parker in his prime was better maybe with his mid-range game and acrobatic layups. Teague though is a lot more athletic than Parker and has he better 3 point shot.
I just feel people aren’t giving Teague enough credit. Every time Schroeder has a good game, a lo of people go aroung commenting how Teague is expendable. He’s not. That guy is close to untradble in my mind. A lot of people just write him off because he plays in a low-market team whos fan base is notoriously weak. They also do not get to play on national TV so casual fans do not really know him that well.
I know Coach Bud is implementing the Spurs system of rotations in the team not playing the starters a whole bunch of minutes but please just give Teague about 35-36 minutes a night!! He’s young and I’m hella positive that he could average 21 and 9 with that much playing time.

JordoParticipantTough because i feel like he’s not overrated or underrated. He’s just rated. He’s in the convo for 7-10 top pgs for sure. Just playing for the hawks he doesn’t get much attention in the main stream media that’s all.

IndianaBasketballParticipantJeff Teague has always been somewhat overlooked. Even in high school. He thrives on that ish though. He’s such a nasty competitor and has supreme confidence. He’s not a household name, but his opponents better know him because he’s going to come at you. He’s always had blazing speed and insane first step quickness/explosion off of his dribble moves. You have to give him and the coaching staff major credit for improving his point guard skills/decision making and just overall offensive game.
I’m happy to see him putting it all together right now and actually just be in the opportunity to play his game. I think he’s definitely an All-Star.
