33 to 27 Jazz lead at the end of the first. KD has 15 and D-Will as 16 and 4 assists.

My initial doubts about Al Jefferson may turn out to be valid.

    He doesn’t box out, he can’t defend…

If his shots aren’t falling, he really hurts the team.

Damn i was hoping Millsap would hit like 4 3’s or something to keep this whole come back thing going, but i guess i wasn’t meant to be.

I wish we would have waited one more year to make a move and grab gasol….. Thought his toughness would serve us well.

He is most definitely not the player Carlos Boozer was for the Jazz. He is not bad, but I think butidonthavemoney’s observations about him are dead on. He has not been the same since the injury, and even before the injury he was a pretty bad defender. He is not the long term answer at Center for the Jazz, and Paul Millsap plays with so much more heart that getting rid of him would be a crying shame. Utah is still one of the better teams in the West, but Jefferson just does not seem to be a Center you want going up against a team like the Lakers. Just an observation. Will be interesting to see what happens when Mehmet Okur comes back. Would not want Utah’s situation as Center, so much talent, so little defense and rebounding. Very lucky to have Millsap, that guy will always board.
