Carlos Boozer deseves to replace brandon roy as an allstar, he returned tonight and had 19 pt. 13 reb. sounds like allstar numbers to me. Monta Ellis and chris kaman are other possibilitties. Well come on both teams are lousy and the utah Jazz are 30-18. Boozer is averaging a double double he should be an all star!

Right now, Andrei Kirilenko should make it.

One game equals a spot on the all-star team? I don’t think so. Chris Kaman deserves it and so does Monta.

Boozer as an allstar is laughable. Its THIS season, we dont go off past accolades buddy (well unless ur one of the morons who voted Iverson in I suppose). Monta Ellis is a no-brainer to replace Roy :(, huge Blazers fan so that hurts. And anyone saying Brooks>Ellis must not be watching too many games this season. I dont like Kaman but he gets the job done so tough to argue that one. Same scenario with Randolph.

Also, question. Anyone think Lamarcus Aldridge’ll ever develop some consistency n hit the boards n become an All-Star?

Boozer should be an all star. I agree. It was not just last night that he did well. He has managed a double double practically every game this season. Monta can only score, and does little to help his team win games. And Kaman, well I can’t argue with that. Gay should make it too. His grizz are a surprising team. If chauncey is not able to make the asg because of his recent injury, then the three that should be considered are Booz, gay, and Kaman. Monta and Brooks, should not even be in their minds. maybe brooks, but definitely not Monta.

Yeah, I’m trying to figure out why so many people are so high on Ellis. Maybe it’s because I’m on the East Coast. His scoring average is nice, but he’s on a team that is beyond lousy. I’m not the biggest proponent of the whole +/- thing, but Ellis has the worst on his team by a mile. The guy that is right in front of him is a rookie playing pg exclusively for only his second year. I think there are a lot of guys if given the opportunity to go wild and get the green light could put up big time numbers, but that tends not to happen on good teams. A guy like JR Smith is every bit of a scorer a guy like Ellis is, but he’s got Carmelo and Billups controlling the show plus he plays so so defense meaning he gets less time on the court.
