I wouldn’t. A great (still young) player and a lottery pick for a high pick in a very star-deprived draft. Maybe if the pick was Simmons, but still too much, I think.

I don’t think there’s much of a difference between 3 and 12 in this draft, to be honest. I would even say some later prospects (Luwawu, Zizic, T. Prince IMO) have better shots of becoming great players than the likes of Dunn or J. Brown who could get selected at 3. Bender could be the only one who’s currently in the mix worthy of that spot.

Would have to give a lot more, and not get the 12 pick either. Maybe part with a point guard?

Gordon Hayward is not a star folks. the number three pick is worth a lot. Celtics throw in there first mid 20’s

weak draft or not there is a star to be had for sure at the 3 pick. just have to make right choice cant say that really outside of the top 10.

I would do it in a heartbeat… if it was #1 or 2. If it fell to 3. I wouldn’t do it, I’d take the Jazz’s chances at 12.

well… maybe the Jazz won’t even need to trade it. I just played the ESPN lottery machine and the Jazz got #2 pick first try…

Your underestimating Hayward, there aren’t 10 players in the league that produce the numbers Hayward produce. 20 + points , 5 rebounds, 4 assists, plus he makes his teammates better.

Hayward can opt out after next season, no need to give up a top pick for a rental player. Celtics may make a run at Hayward at the deadline next year, it will cost a lot less.

Hayward is not a star.  He is a slight upgrade over Evan turner!

Noway, Hayward is much better than Turner!!! If Hayward was playing in NY or LA he’d be a star , being in Utah he doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
