they have history that goes back a few years with paul milsap and wes matthews. now that oden is a restricted free agent i think the jazz should stick it to them! if we land him we can dump big al, if not i think we can manage! for some reason portland has had it out for utah for a few years! GO GET HIM UTAH!!!

That would be awesome. Although the Blazers would probably match the offer in a heartbeat. But it would still be pretty funny just to see the Jazz saying "take that" you stealers. (There’s a reason why they were called the "jailblazers", they stole a player from the Jazz and about stole Millsap too!)

I think Portland retains him for at least 1 year, for nothing more than insurance. Portland is a team trying to take the jump to the next level and become a contender and unless they can land someone at the C I think they like Oden as a backup playing limited minutes and rehabbing his injury. They have 36 year old Marcus Camby as their starter and 210 lb Chris Johnson and journeyman Earl Barron on their roster right now…They’re keeping him unless someone pays waaay too much money for him.
