Both have high skill levels and can play both the low and high post, and both have bodies that aren’t very strong and have low basketball IQ’s. Who do you think has a better future?

do you compare those guys because of similarities??? hey are not similar at all IMO. Javale is very very raw, with no post skills , but he is freakish athlete with freakish hands…and Mareesse isn;t so raw, he has very good jumper, and he can score with many ways(don’t forget was top5 rookies in 48mi scoring) also he can rebound and block, everything he need is PT and continue to improve. so he is my pick

Javale McGee isn’t that raw at all actually, I watched him play yesterday and in their training camp and he has a bunch of moves and everything as I said in the 1st post. He’s not raw, he’s just not strong and has a kinda low basketball IQ. You be surprised how he plays this year, but don’t think he’s got a long way to go until he gets to be a good player.

Inconsistent is more of a word for Javale Mcgee. He is very versatile- however he does not have an offensive skill that he is particularly well-developed at. He just does a little but of everything right now at kind of an average to a below-average level. Speights is also a power forward while Mcgee is a center. I do think they both have legitimate chances at being the best in a few years at their respective positions in their draft classes.

I would go with Speights right now. I like McGee more but I veiw Speights as a more consistant scorer in his career. Even if it’s just off the bench.

Eddie Jordan and the coaching staff have been raving about Dalembert and the way he’s performing this summer lol. Jordan said he’s the 2nd best shooter on the team and has played really well in the Princeton offense. All the players have said that he’s happy and playing like his old self again.

By Kate F agan from the Inquirer:

Here’s what I noticed from today: Samuel Dalembert looks happy to be running this offense and he’s actually running it quite well. Considering we’ve been less than complimentary about Dalembert’s state of mind the last year or so, I think it’s only fair to say that — so far — Dalembert looks effective in the Princeton Offense. Which is surprising. Also surprising is that Jordan said Dalembert was the second-best shooter on the team, perhaps tied with Andre Iguodala (obviously Jason Kapono being the best). I’m not sure if I’d agree with that. But Jordan was effusive in his praise for Dalembert’s pre-season effort, saying he’s passing the ball well, being unselfish and effective within the offense. From what I’ve seen, that’s actually not an exaggeration, Dalembert has looked really good.

“All the players have said that he’s happy and playing like his old self again. ”

That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. He played like his old self for the past 3 years now..that’s the problem.

I’m not believing he said this stuff lol…too much madness to be true.

Ha ha I figured you’d find this funny, which is why I posted it lol. Lou Williams said that “he’s happy, joking around with the guys and like his old self again” quote lol.
